WW2 1942 British Army Long Branch Canada .303 Calibre No.4 MK I* Rifle Later Sporterised For Hunting With British Parker Hale Barrel**EARLY UK 1996 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1554 - D 1554 An excellent, original, 1942 dated, WW2 Long Branch .303 calibre No.4 MK I* rifle made for use by the British army in WW2 & Later Sporterised For Hunting by adjustments to the stock. The wood work and metal work of this weapon are in excellent condition. The stock has a figured cheek piece and chequered grip panels along with a polished horn inset line at the fore end. It has a ramp blade fore sight, cushioned rubber butt recoil pad & sling swivels. The rear sight is absent to allow fitting of a telescopic sight (the barrel is recessed for scope mounts). The barrel is crisply marked ‘Parker Hale Birmingham England’ & has .303 calibre detail. The breech is crisply stamped 'No 4 MK I* Long Branch’ and faint ‘1942' date. The grip strap has number 6L8123. The rifle has a 25 ½” barrel and is 42 ½” overall. Deactivated to early UK specification in 1996 its original magazine can be removed and the weapon, cocks & dry fires crisply. The price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery. British WW1 Era Schermuly's Patent 1” Calibre Brass Trench Flare / Signal Pistol**UK 2022 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 1533. - D 1533 William Schermuly was a seaman & inventor born in 1857 of Dutch origin. He was famous for his invention of sea rescue, line throwing apparatus including rockets and flare pistols. This is an excellent condition British WW1 era brass Trench flare pistol. It has its original undamaged wood grips. The pistol is serial number '72986' which is stamped on the frame and barrel block. The left side is stamped 'Schermuly's' Patent’. The pistol has 4" barrel. Deactivated to UK specification in 2022, the pistol breaks open as it should, and it cocks and dry fires. WWI Era German Hebel 27mm Trench Flare/ Signal Pistol By 'Gebr.R' Gebruder Rempt Suhl. D 1460. - D 1460 This is a good WWI era German Hebel 27mm calibre Flare Pistol. It has a 9" Barrel and measures 14" overall. It has undamaged wood grips with just the bumps and bruises to be expected with age and service use. It's lever opening action works & it cocks & dry fires. The left side of the frame is stamped with serial number '1815' and by the manufacturer 'Gebr.R' (Gebruder Rempt Suhl Germany). The number is repeated on the barrel block together with the company’s ‘GR’ mark. The right side has Imperial inspection marks. The butt is fitted with its original military lanyard ring. Remington New Model Navy Brass Frame Single Action .36 Calibre Cap & Ball Percussion Revolver with Octagonal Barrel by Pietta. D 1550. - D 1550 Remington New Model Navy percussion revolvers were manufactured by Remington & Sons USA in .36 Calibre between 1863 to 1875. These weapons were popular with both Union & Confederate Officers during the Civil War. The Remington design lives on today in the form of quality black powder firearms from Italian manufacturers Uberti, Pietta, and Euroarms. This Pietta made example of the New Model Navy revolver is in good condition. The pistol has a 6 ¾” blued steel barrel and measures 12 ¾” overall. The barrel is crisply stamped 'F.LLI Pietta Made In Italy' together with ‘FAP diamond cartouche’ and 'Black Powder Only .36 Cal'. It has a brass frame, blued cylinder and undamaged wood grip. Deactivated to UK specification in 2005 the pistol cocks and dry fires correctly in single action only. The pistol is without fore sight and has a grooved frame rear sight. Colt Licenced Italian Made Colt Pocket Model of 1849 .31 Calibre, Cap And Ball, 6 Shot, Single Action, Revolver With Brass Grip Frame, Colour Case Hardened Action & Cylinder Scene. D 1548. - D 1548 The family of Colt Pocket Percussion Revolvers evolved from the iconic 1860 Army and 1851 Navy Revolvers and were produced between 1849 and 1872. This original U.S. Colt .31 Calibre Cap and Ball, 5 shot Pocket Model of 1849 Revolver made in Italy in the modern era under licence from Colt is in excellent condition. It has a brass trigger guard and grip frame, colour case hardened action and hammer. The pistol has the correct brass post fore sight, notched hammer rear sight & captive lever ram rod. It has an undamaged American Walnut grip. It has a 4 " two stage barrel (9 ¼” overall). The barrel is marked ‘Made In Italy Black Powder Ony’ and has Italian ‘PN’ inspection mark. The cylinder is marked 'Patent’ & has a crisp Indian Wars scene. Deactivated to UK specification in 2005 the pistol cocks and dry fires. The price includes deactivation certificate & UK delivery. DEACTIVATED. German WW2 MK151/20 Aircraft Cannon Barrel. - D 2126 DEACTIVATED. The MK151 canon was an important aircraft in German aircraft during WW2. The cannon was developed during the 1940s to replace the drum fed FFM 20mm cannon fitted to the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The cannon was originally developed in 15mm calibre but this was dropped and the gun was developed as a 20 mm cannon called the MK 151/20. This weapon proved very effective, being a belt fed gun especially when used with the Meingeschloss high capacity projectiles. This is an original WW2, MK 151/20mm aircraft cannon barrel that has been recovered from a wrecked German aircraft. The barrel measures 43 ¼ inches in length and is stamped in front of the chamber MG151/20 2005 and 6994. The barrel is bent approximately halfway along its length where the barrel is knurled (See photographs), rendering the barrel incapable of discharging a projectile. This damage will have been caused by the aircraft impacting the ground or crashing. This damage renders the barrel deactivated by condition. The barrel has its mountings lugs to attach it to the gun at the breech. The price includes U.K. delivery, and no licence is required to possess this barrel in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display.(Under cannon in Armoury). D 2014 £495.00 |
