U.S. WWII Navy Lace up Canvas Skull Cap Ear Receivers for the Portable Miniature RBZ Receiver. HE 851. - HE 851
The RBZ was a portable miniature valve-based receiver, introduced in 1943 by the Emerson Radio and Phonograph Corporation in New York (USA) for the US Navy. The receiver was used during Naval raids – for example during the D-Day landings – but also by resistance groups for the reception of BBC broadcasts. In Naval use, the soldier's metal helmet would be used as the antenna. A short piece of fixed wire (approx. 70 cm) and a screw-on terminal is used to connect the receiver to the helmet. Although it is uncertain whether these radios were issued to US Marines during WWII, it has now been confirmed that British SAS troops used the RBZ Radio during Operation Houndsworth in Morvan (France) in June 1944. Marked ‘CVH-10204’ to the inside of one flap. Both receivers are present *untested*. The canvas and straps are in very good order. The price includes UK delivery. HE 851. (Soft headwear Box)

WWII German Model M30 Gas Mask and Canister. HE 850. - HE 850
This is a good example of a Model M30 Gas Mask and Canister, complete with its harness in which is also in very good condition. The M30 gas mask is in the standard black rubber with cloth covered, rubberised canvas. The metal fittings have been painted in a tan colour for tropical use. The filter is complete and stamped with a makers code “FE” and 42 date on the filter. The is complete with a sheet metal construction GM38 carrying canister with canvas carrying strap. It has been painted in the standard green feldgrau paint with a topcoat of light grey. The GM30 uses a 6-point head harness. The mask mainly stayed the same throughout the years; only the valve house changed. The first model has a simple valve house with a slightly separated intake screw part. The second one is the most well-known one, where the exhale and the inhale are in one flat plain. This update was implemented because the valve was soiled quickly, and the soldiers hit their front teeth while falling. The pair are in very good overall condition. The price includes UK delivery. West Yorkshire Police, formerly the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police, is the territorial police force responsible for policing the metropolitan county of West Yorkshire, England. It is the fourth largest territorial police force in England and Wales by number of officers. West Yorkshire Police was formed in 1974, when part of the West Yorkshire Constabulary (itself created in 1968, and covering a much larger area) was amalgamated with the Leeds City Police and Bradford City Police, under the Local Government Act 1972. The force was originally known as the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police. The 'Metropolitan' from the police title was dropped in 1986 when the metropolitan county councils were abolished.
