The rear of the holster has 2 x 2" belt loops riveted to the body. It has a single brass press stud fastener stamped 'N.B. Ltd' on the full flap cover. A superb condition brown leather holster, dated 1914 for the Webley Mk.VI .455" Service Revolver. It has a full flap cover with retaining strap and brass stud fastener. The rear has a large rear belt loop with original brass retaining hook and brass loop. The centre of the belt loop is crisply impressed ' M. Harvey & Co Ltd Walsall, C&M' together with '1914' date. WW2 British Officer's 1939 Pattern Leather Equipment Belt Rig Including 1941 Dated .455 Holster By Thomlinson Ltd & 1941 Dated Ammo Pouch By BH&G. Sn 9669 - 9669
This is an excellent original WW2 British Officer's 1939 pattern grained brown leather equipment rig comprising waist belt, .455 holster & ammo pouch. The waist belt measures 36" long, it retains all of it's brass hooks, loops and buckles. The .455 holster is for the Webley Service revolver and has a fold over flap secured with brass press stud fastener. The inside of the flap is date ink stamped 1941 and with a partially readable maker's name 'Wm Thomlinson Ltd'. On the reverse it has 2 riveted leather belt loops. The ammo pouch has a flap cover with brass stud fastener and 2 riveted belt loops to the rear. The rear is impressed by the manufacturer 'BH&G' and dated '1941'. These are a pair of early 1900's Cavalry Officer's leather saddle wallets. They are made of supple heavy duty brown leather and have full flap covers. The wallets each have their original double press stud fasteners to the body. The flap covers of each wallet are lined with a sturdy green and white check oiled cotton material. The inside of one wallet has a separate compartment with quick release strap, the other a simple small document compartment. The inside of one wallet is stamped with a small impressed 'GG'. The rear of the central saddle strap that joins the wallets is slotted and holed for cord or saddle stud. The central strap is impressed with a small 'G'. This is an original near mint un-issued condition WW1 Leather Holster for Webley Trench/Flare Pistols. It measures 11" x 8" and is made of brown hide. It has a full flap cover with single retaining strap and brass stud fastener to the body. The inside of the flap is ink marked with War Dept arrow and '1914' date. The rear of the holster has it's riveted single belt loop together with it's original leather cross belt/ shoulder strap with brass buckle. The strap is stitched to the rear of the holster.
