Boxed Post 1977 Webley Hurricane .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 23207 - 23207
Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II (see page 238 of The Collector’s Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). This is an excellent example of the Webley Hurricane .22 calibre Air Pistol. The Pistol has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires crisply. The pistol retains all of its original black finish. The frame is marked with the Webley manufacturer’s detail and 'Hurricane' model. It has contoured target grips, safety catch, adjustable rear sight & blade foresight. The pistol has its original brightly coloured Black and Green coloured box with Red inlaid tray. The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions for care & use. A previous owner has wrapped the lid in clear cellophane to protect it during storage. The accessories consist of an RWS Diablo pellet tin containing a quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets, a metal target holder with pellet catcher tray & the pistol’s original allen key tool with metal Webley key ring. SOLD SOLD (21/05) **VERY RARE**MINT**DELUXE**Original Cased, 1953-83, German, Walther LP 53 .177 Calibre, Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 23206 - 23206
The LP53 (Luft pistole/ Air Pistol) was produced between 1953 and1983. It is a .177 calibre air pistol with the same design lines as Walther's famous .22 LR Olympia target pistol. The LP53 is all metal with beautifully formed brown plastic grip panels. Movie posters for early James Bond films show Bond holding an LP 53 or Olympia pistol instead of his usual service PPK. This example is in near mint condition with excellent finish to the metalwork and plastic contoured grips with Walther banners. It has target sights and is stamped on the left side of the frame with the Walther banner and patent detail 'LP Mod 53 Cal 4.5 (.177)' together with 'Walther Patent Made In Germany' & serial number '043967'. The pistol functions perfectly and is contained in its original very rare to find silk and felt lined deluxe wood case with hinged lid and clasp fasteners. The case is covered with dark blue leatherette material and bears the printed silver Walther banner. The case has its original carry handle. The silk lining has its original gold Walther banner. The case contains its original wood cocking aid, 2 spare rear sight plates, 2 spare fore sight blades, cleaning rod & a clear plastic pot with removable lid. **RARE**1927-1936 German Haenel Model 28 (1928) .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. AI 852 - AI 852
Haenel Model 1928 Air Pistols were produced by C.G. Haenel Suhl Thuringer Wald Germany between 1927 & 1936 (see page 88 of Hiller's book 'The Collectors’ Guide To Air Pistols 3rd Edition'). This is an original rare to find Haenel Model 1928 .177 calibre break action air pistol. It has a 4 ¼” barrel with clean bore & correct shallow rifling & measures 10 ½” overall. It has a block & blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. The undamaged wood grips of this example are correctly inlaid with Haenel signature brass medallions. The top of the cylinder is crisply marked 'Haenel Mod .28 Brit Pat No. 277265 DRP’. The right side of the cylinder is stamped 'Made In Germany' & the left side of the barrel 'Cal 4.5mm (.177)*’ calibre detail. The butt of the grip frame is stamped with serial number ‘18567’. These pistols have an unusual cocking action. A knurled steel button on the right side of the trigger guard releases the cylinder from the grip frame and the cylinder is pulled upwards to break open the pistol and cock it. The barrel breaks to allow loading of a pellet. The pistol cocks and fires crisply. It retains its original finish with even aged patina throughout. The price includes UK delivery. AI 852

Crossman 2250B Ratcatcher CO2 .22 Calibre Compact Air Rifle & Telescopic Sight. - MISC 1017
This is an excellent Crossman 2250B Ratcatcher .22 CO2 single shot bolt action carbine. The compact air rifle has an ABS Stock and fore end and a rifled barrel. The guns condition is excellent with all of its original bluing present and no damage to the stock. The gun is fitted with a Webley 1.5 x 15 telescopic sight mounted on top of the action. The lightweight 3lb 6 oz gun has an easy CO2 cartridge loading system and up to 35 to 40 shots from one CO2 capsule and shoots with a velocity of up to 550 ft per second. The gun has the serial number 703B12026 stamped on the left hand side. The pistol loads and fires perfectly. The price includes UK delivery. This is a very good Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder correctly highlighted in white. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 Birmingham area code 4 was removed post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.177' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with serial / batch number '1828’. The rear of the cylinder is correctly marked ‘Not to be removed’ highlighted in red. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires with a strong spring action. The pistol is contained in its original Webley cardboard box with Pre 1958 Birmingham 4 address Webley labelling & imagery. Original 'instructions for use' are adhered to the inside of the lid. An excellent Webley Premier MK II air pistol (see 133 to 141 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This example is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged and has the correct alloy frame which has all of its original blue finish. It has the correct black chequered panel plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder has the correct foil insert marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Webley Premier MK II Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial or batch number 830. Early 1906-1907 B.S.A Improved Model Lincoln Jeffries Patent .177 Calibre Underlever Air Rifle With Early Bayonet Catch Lever ( no protective side fences), Pistol Grip Stock Variant. Sn 23041 - 23041
This is a very good B.S.A. ‘Improved Model’ Lincoln Jeffries Patent Air Rifle. Although classified as Improved Model, ‘Improved’ was never stamped on the cylinder of these air rifles until introduction of The Improved model B in 1907 (see pages 42 to 44 of The Book Of BSA Air Rifles 1905-1939 by Milewski)’. These rifles were made with both straight hand and pistol grip stocks. This example of the improved model has its original wood stock with pistol stock and correct chequered panels. The stock is impressed with BSA’s pyled arms Trade mark. The underside of the stock is impressed with 14 ¼” (stock length). It has a steel butt plate, a 19 ½” barrel and measures 43 ½” overall. It has what looks like a period replacement blade for sight and adjustable dial rear sight. The metal work has original blue finish. The loading port is crisply marked ‘Load’ and has faint BSA pyled arms trademark. The underside of the bayonet cocking lever has Lincoln Jeffries patent information (illustrated). The top of the cylinder is correctly crisply marked 'BSA Air Rifle Made By The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited'. The loading tap is correctly marked ‘P.Pat’. The rifle is serial number ‘15978’ which is stamped on the trigger block. The top of the shoulder stock has 4 old hand carved notches most likely a previous owner recording hunting kills. The trigger block has what looks like a later replacement screw. The top of the trigger block has been factory milled most likely to accommodate an additional rear sight. Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II. This is an excellent example of the Webley Hurricane .22 calibre Air Pistol. The body is marked WEBLEY HURRICANE on the sides and WEBLEY & SCOTT MADE IN ENGLAND together with F in a pent shape. The rearsight also has the numbers embossed in white dating the pistol to after 1987. The pistol is fitted with black chequered contoured target grips, safety catch, adjustable rear sight & shrouded blade foresight. The guns blueing and black finish is in excellent condition with little signs of use. The Pistol has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires as it should. VERY RARE, 1977 Manufacture Only, Weihrauch HW 35LS Lochschaft .22 Target Air Rifle with Interchangeable Blade Foresight. Sn - 22880
The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for air gunners. The HW 35LS Lochschaft, (German for a thumb-hole stock) was only produced in 1977 and is seldom encountered. The rifle has a 19 ½ inch barrel with an overall length of 44 ½ inches. The air rifle is the exceedingly rare Lochschaft version fitted with the thumbhole stock. The wooden stock is in excellent condition and is not the plastic version. The air rifle is in .22 calibre and is fitted with the target interchangeable foresight. The rear sight is the standard Weirauch sight. The air rifles barrel block is stamped on the left hand side of the barrel HW35 Made in Germany Kal 5.5. the right hand side of the barrel is stamped Weirauch Mellrichstadt – Bay and carries the serial number 719244, The air rifles blueing is in excellent condition with only minor rubbing from use.
