Boxed, 1970's Webley Premier 'E' Series .22 Calibre Air Pistol With Early Brown Grips & Accessories. Sn 18652 - 18652
The Webley Premier 'E' series was introduced in 1972. The 'E' Series designation was stamped on the frame near to or under the left grip (see pages 119 / 120 of Webley Air Pistols By Bruce). This is an excellent example in .22 Calibre. It is undamaged and has early brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos (later versions had black grips). The left side of the cylinder is marked 'The Webley Premier Made In England' highlighted in white. The frame near the left grip is stamped with a partially visible large ‘E’ (Series designation. The front of the cylinder is stamped with batch or serial number 965. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires crisply. The forward barrel block has calibre .22. The pistol is contained in its original cardboard box with Webley labelling & imagery. The inside of the lid has illustrated instructions adhered. The box contains a Bulldog pellet tin which contains a small quantity of .22 calibre lead pellets, 4x .22 calibre darts and a paper Webley target No.1. The price includes UK delivery. Pre 1958 Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Brown Grips. AI 593 - AI 593
This is a nice Webley Senior .177 Calibre Air pistol. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 area code 4 was removed from pistols post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). The forward barrel block is stamped '.177' calibre & the front of the cylinder stamped with number '740'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Post 1977 Webley Hurricane .22 Calibre Air Pistol & Accessories. Sn 18085:37 - 18085:37
Production of the Webley Hurricane began in 1977. The pistols replaced the Webley Premier MK II (see page 238 of The Collector’s Guide To Air Pistols by Hiller). This is an excellent example of the Webley Hurricane .22 calibre Air Pistol. The Pistol has an over lever action which has a strong spring and fires as it should. The body is marked with the Webley manufacturer’s detail and 'Hurricane' model. It has contoured target grips, safety catch, adjustable rear sight & shrouded blade foresight. The pistol has its original brightly coloured Black and Green coloured box with Red inlaid tray, together with original accessories factory included when the pistol was 1st purchased. The accessories consist of its Webley registration leaflet and care instructions together with Webley telescopic sight mount and a Weley pellet tin which contains a quantity of lead pellets. Boxed, Post WW2 'The Webley Mark 1' .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Accessories. AI 718 - AI 718
This is an excellent, boxed, 'Webley Mark I Air Pistol'. These pistols were made pre WW2 and post war. Pre 1939 pistol barrels were straight, without the post war ribbed barrel section and their grips were without the post war Webley embossed roundels (see pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). Our post WW2 example has undamaged metal work and retains its original blue finish. It has the correct undamaged post war black chequered grips with embossed Webley roundels. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Webley Air Pistol Mark I Made In England'. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator all highlighted in white. The front of the cylinder is numbered ‘582’. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4' and ‘Webley Patents’. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177' (calibre). The barrel’s rifled bore is clean and has the correct post war ribbed grip section. The underside of the frame has a small stylised ‘&’ factory inspector’s mark. The pistol cocks and fires crisply. The pistol is contained in its original Webley labelled box which is undamaged and bears Webley pistol imagery. The inside of the lid has its original illustrated instructions for use. The box contains the pistol’s original Webley cardboard tag, illustrated instruction leaflet, 5 Webley paper gift vouchers which were included with these air pistols when purchased in the period & a cardboard Milbro Caledonian .177 calibre pellet box which contains a small quantity of .177 calibre lead pellets. Boxed 1960’s Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air Pistol With 4 x .177 Calibre Darts. AI 714 - AI 714
This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air Pistols’). It is undamaged with original blue finish. It has the correct black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '318'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly crisply. The pistol’s rifled bore is clean. Boxed, Post WW2 'The Webley Mark 1' .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Pre War Barrel (No Ribbed Section) & Original Instruction Card. AI 710 - AI 710
This is a very good 'The Webley Mark I Air Pistol'. These pistols were manufactured at the Webley Birmingham 4 factory post WW2 To 1958. Production continued at their Handsworth factory into the 1960's. (See pages 71 to 73 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). It has excellent undamaged metal work with original finish and undamaged black chequered grips embossed with the 'Webley' name (pre war examples do not have Webley signature grips). The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'Webley Air Pistol Mark I Made In England'. The left side also has the correct oil hole marked 'Oil' with arrow indicator. The right side of the cylinder is marked 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham' together with Webley’s International patents. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK 1 .177'. The barrel’s rifled bore is clean. The barrel is the pre 1939 straight version without ribbed section which was introduced post war. The frame has serial number ‘63394’ and the front of the cylinder is stamped with matching number ‘394’. The rear of the cylinder is correctly marked 'do not remove'. The pistol cocks and fires crisply. The pistol is contained in its original Webley labelled box which is undamaged and bears Webley pistol imagery, trademark and Birmingham 4 address. The inside of the lid has its original illustrated instructions. The box contains its original instruction card. The price includes UK delivery. Boxed, Post War Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air Pistol With ‘A’ Factory Inspection Mark & Accessories. Sn 15663:19 - 15663:19
Post WW2 Junior Series 2 air pistol’s had shorter barrels than the pre war Series 1 Juniors. They also has plastic stock plates rather than tin stock plates which were fitted to 1st Series pistols. This is a boxed Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see page 96 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). It is undamaged with original finish which has some rubbing to the finish on one side. It has the correct black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham Made In England'. The left side of the frame has an ‘A’ factory Inspector’s mark which is one of the factory inspection marks that have been noted on these pistols (see page 51 of Bruce’s book). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '1826'. It has a blade foresight, adjustable rear sight and it cocks & fires as it should. It is contained in its original Orange background Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 21 address. Original Webley instructions are adhered to the inside of the box lid. The box contains a small cardboard ‘Beatall Waisted’ pellet box which contains a quantity of .177 calibre lead pellets, a small number of .177 calibre darts, 2 spare washers, main spring and Webley Medallion. 1947-1954 Nickel Plated German Made U.S.A Patent Dolla Mark II ‘Gat Type’ .177 Calibre Smoothbore Air Pistol. Sn 8770 - 8770
A Dolla Mark II Pop out Air pistol in .177 Calibre (Smoothbore). These U.S. Patent German Manufactured pistol’s were made between 1947 and 1954. Our example is in good fully functioning condition with a few wear marks to the nickel plated finish to be expected with age. The barrel’s smoothbore is clean. The varnished wood one piece grip is undamaged. The left and right sides of the grip have brass discs embossed ‘The Dolla Mark II’ inset.The butt is stamped ‘Reg U.S Pat Made in Germany’. Similar to Gat air pistols the barrel is pushed in until it locks in place cocking the pistol for firing. A screw pin at the rear of the barrel cylinder is unscrewed and a pellet inserted the pin is the screwed back into place ready for firing The pistol cocks and fires as it should. 1946-1956 British Accles & Shelvoke Ltd 'Acvoke' Break Action .177 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 12995 - 12995
Accles and Shelvoke Ltd of Birmingham manufactured 'Acvoke' Air Pistols and Slaughterhouse Weapons. Acvoke .177 air pistols were produced from 1946 to 1956 (see page 12 of Collectors Guide To Air Pistols 3rd Edition by Hiller). It has an innovational concentric design similar to the Earlier German 'Tell II' Air pistol but on a larger more powerful scale. Before cocking the pistol a lever is swung out from the rear grip to afford mechanical advantage while the cocking operation is performed. This is an excellent example of the .177 Calibre, Accles & Shelvoke Ltd break action Air Pistol. It has black plastic, ribbed slab grips. All metal and grips are undamaged. The grips are embossed with the 'Acvoke' trademark logo. The back strap is stamped 'Pellet Gauge' & has the correct .177 calibre pellet gauge hole. The breech plate is correctly stamped with the manufacturer's detail 'Accles and Shelvoke Ltd, Patent Applied For, Birmingham Eng ( England)'. It loads cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. Price includes UK delivery.
