A brand new signed copy of ‘The Book of the BSA air Rifle, ‘A guide to shooting and collecting the iconic BSA air rifle’ by John Milewski. The iconic Lincoln Jeffries designed BSA Air Rifle is arguably the most important airgun design ever and its influence can still be seen today in rifles such as the Weihrauch HW77 and Air Arms TX200. The BSA Air Rifle was instrumental in organised air rifle shooting across the UK and sold well overseas as not just a target arm but a useful hunting tool. Across three major sections and its 30 chapters, The Book of BSA Air Rifle studies the numerous models and variations that were manufactured and will allow an owner to identify their particular model. In addition to the rifles themselves, accessories and sighting systems are examined in detail. Using many contemporary images, some of which have never been published before, together with full colour images of surviving rifles and their features. The book of the BSA rifle also includes a detailed study of the BSA rifles role in organised airgun shooting. Intended for owners and collectors, this book is essential reading for anyone interested in this British classic design, and the social history aspect of its use. This is an illustrated and completely thorough book on all ‘BSA’ air rifles between 1905 and 1939. The book is hand signed by the author and covers all models of the BSA rifle produced between 1905 and 1939. It covers subjects such as prototypes, presentation, modifications, pellets, retailers, prefixes, accessories and much more. This is the ultimate guide to owning and collecting early BSA rifles, and is an absolute must for the owner/collector. The price includes UK delivery. 19136
