Luftwaffe lapel-pin 'Zivilabzeichen' to be worn on the civil attire by staff-members of the 'Luftwaffe’. This lapel pin 'Zivilabzeichen' would be worn on the civil attire, intended for use by the various staff-members of the 'Luftwaffe' this example depicts an early-pattern 'down-tailed'-eagle. This example has never been cleaned or polished. This is a non-maker-marked specimen that has retained a nice and uncleaned age-patina and that comes mounted on its full-sized pin. SOLD SOLD Original WWII High Seas Fleet Badge 1st Type by Manufacturer Frederick Orth-Wein. 91413. - 91413
The badge was introduced on 30th April 1941 at the direction of Grandadmiral Raeder, who at the time was Commander-in-Chief of the Navy to recognise the sea actions in which the German Navy had been employed against the Royal Navy. The designer and principal maker was Adolf Bock of Berlin. It took the form of a German Navy capital ship at full steam, passing through an oak leaf wreath with a large winged eagle at the top of the wreath. The criterion for the award was to have completed twelve weeks service on a battleship or a cruiser, amongst others. Measuring; 58 x 48mm and marked ‘fO’ to the rear by the manufacturer Frederick Orth-Wein. See page 136 of ‘Combat Medals of the Third Reich by Christopher Ailsby (N.019). Genuine RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) Aluminium Belt Buckle and Leather Tab Dated 1938 by Manufacturer Dransfield & Co Menden. Sn 7607. - 7607
Founded officially in 1934, the RAD (Reichsarbeitsdienst) or Reich Labour Service was instituted as a "make-work program" to help alleviate the depression of Germany in 1934.On the 26th June 1935 service in the RAD became compulsory for men between ages of eighteen and twenty five, while service at seventeen was voluntary. Enlistment was initially for a period of six months, soon extended to twelve months; however during the course of war, service in the RAD was reduced to three months. The original target strength of the RAD was 900,000 men but this was never achieved. From figures for the period 1933 to 1936 it appears that the strength of the RAD was approximately 500,000 or 600,000 men each year. See Chapter Six of German Belt Buckles 1845-1945 by Peter Nash. Original ‘SS Zivilabzeichen’ SS Civil Pin. N 118. - N 118
The SS Civil Pin was issued to members of the SS. from 1933 to 1938, and was worn on civilian clothing to denote membership in the organisation. The Badge was primarily issued to members of the Security Police (Sicherheitspolizei) who were veteran members of the SS. In order to receive the Pin, an individual had to apply to the SS-Hauptamt (SS Main Office). It is unknown whether there was set criteria to receive the award. Some pins feature award numbers on the reverse. Adolf Hitler was awarded number one, and Heinrich Himmler received number two. Measuring; 59 x 10mm. See images for condition. SOLD SOLD Original WWII Kriegsmarine Destroyers Badge 1st Type. 1111 - N117
On June 4th 1940 this badge was introduced by Grandadmiral Erich Raeder, the Oberbelchlshaber der Kriegsmarine, during the battle of Narvik. It was initially to reward the crews under the command of Commadore Bonte involved in the battle. In an order dated 22 October 1940, awards and authorisations for the wear of the badge were extended to crew members of other vessels that could be described as ‘destroyers’ including torpedo boats and E-boats. In near perfect condition with pin and clasp working as they should. Measuring; 53 x 45mm. Original Nazi Period German Alpine Border Police Badge. Sn 7621. - 7621
This is an original Nazi period German Alpine / Tyrol Border Police Uniform Badge with its original fittings and back plate. The back plate is stamped with the maker's code of LN1790. It measures 6cm x 6.5cm and has the officer's number '652' stamped into the centre. Between the front and rear plates is sandwiched green baize which is held in place by two clips. (illustrated). The heavy 3 piece construction armband is made of blood red cotton material with central white roundel panel & stitched black tape legs forming a Swastika. 1935 Dated WW2 Era Nazi German NSKK Officers Quality Black Leather Map Case With RZM Marked Buckles & 4 Original Nazi 1:100000 Scale Maps Which Have Pencil Notations Underlining Towns & Possible Hitler Youth Camps All To Willy Mast Leipziger. Sn 20676 - 20676
An original Nazi German black leather map case, slightly smaller than the armed forces version in leather, complete with both of its belt loops on the reverse side. The sprung loaded nickel plated attachment clips are both RZM M5/28c and DRGM marked. Closed the case measures 9 ½” x 7” x 1 ½”. There are Four maps to the interior of different parts of Germany indicating that this may be NSKK issue (The paramilitary Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps’ primary mission was to meet all transportation requirements of the Nazi Party). One pencil intact in its 4 pencil pockets. The maps have hand applied pencil notations underlining Towns & possible Hitler Youth Camps (red triangle). The inside of the flap is ink stamped ‘35’ possibly 1935 date. The flap also has an indistinct pencil hand written signature most likely ‘Willy Mast’ which is ink stamped on each of the maps with his Leipziger address. This is an original solid silver Fallschirmjager's Honour War Service Presentation Fine Silver Tray. The round tray has a rolled rim. The shallow tray measures 10” diameter and is ½” deep. The tray is engraved with Fallschirmjager's badge of wreath which contains a diving Eagle. Perched on top of the badge is the Nazi Eagle with Swastika. Below the badge is engraved Honour presentation wording in German script ‘Obgfr Hans During Kriegsberichtertruppe B2 JSCH J.G. Div’ & date ’11-3-45’ (During WW2 most Nazi military units had troops allocated war reporting duties mainly to provide Nazi propaganda) . The underside of the tray has crisp manufacturer mark ‘Joh Wagner & Sohn’ Feinsilber (fine silver) Auflage (edition) & Alpaka Trademark. This is an original Nazi pennant. The small pennant measures 22cms x 18.5 cms and would most likely have been used for desktop display on a Nazi Officer’s desk. It has no damage and is made of double sided red cotton with intricate stitched edging typical of Nazi cloth items. One edge of the pennant has a thin 2 cms hem to accommodate a thin rod for display on a desktop plinth. Both sides of the pennant have black tape Swastikas on white cotton roundel panels. *Original* Hitler Youth Belt Buckle. N 114. - N 114
The Hitler Youth ‘Hitlerjugend’, often abbreviated as HJ, was the youth organisation of the Nazi Party in Germany. Its origins date back to 1922 and it received the name Hitler-Jugend, Bund deutscher Arbeiterjugend (‘Hitler Youth, League of German Worker Youth’) in July 1926. From 1936 until 1945, it was the sole official boys' youth organisation in Germany and it was partially a paramilitary organisation. It was composed of the Hitler Youth proper for male youths aged 14 to 18, and the German Youngsters in the Hitler Youth (Deutsches Jungvolk in der Hitler Jugend or "DJ", also "DJV") for younger boys aged 10 to 14. The buckle features an eagle with down turned wings perched on top of a HJ diamond. This is surrounded by a serrated circular border with inner and outer rope, and the HJ motto ‘Blut und Ehre’ (Blood and Honour). Only showing minor age related marks with a nice patina.
