They are all blue serge bodies, all with a chrome Ball Top, and a Queen’s Crown (QE II) metal helmet plate. Three of the five helmets have a leather sweat band with string adjustment cord and chinstrap, the other two (South Yorkshire & Nottinghamshire) have a riot harness. The first is to Nottinghamshire Constabulary, and is fitted with a forehead leather sweat piece and a riot harness. The second, a Lincolnshire SOLD Constabulary, size 7". The third is a Leicester & Rutland Constabulary helmet, size 6 7/8" with chromed Queens Crown helmet plate and side chromed rosettes. The fourth is a Hull (SOLD HULL SOLD ) Police helmet. The first is to Merseyside Police, size 6 7/8" and is stamped by the maker on the sweat band with 'Christy's London'. The second,(SOLD SOLD ) a West Midlands Police, with a red silk lining. The third is a Gwent Constabulary helmet with chromed Queens Crown helmet plate. The fourth is a West Yorkshire Metropolitan Police helmet size 6 7/8" by 'Christy's of London' and is fitted with a riot harness as well as a chin strap. They are all blue serge bodies, all with a chrome rose boss, and a Queen’s Crown (QE II) metal helmet plate. All five helmets have a leather sweat band with string adjustment cord and chinstrap. The first is to Northumberland Constabulary, size 7 1/4" and is stamped by the maker on the sweat band with 'Helmets Ltd Wheathampstead'. The second, a two panel Lancashire Constabulary, size 7 1/8". The third is a single panel Avon and Somerset Constabulary helmet, size 7" with chromed Queens Crown helmet plate. The fourth is a two panel South Wales Constabulary helmet by 'Compton Webb' of Witney, Oxon and is fitted with a riot harness as well as a chin strap. They are all blue serge bodies, one with a chrome rose boss, four with blackened rose bosses and four have a Queen’s Crown (QE II) metal helmet plate and the remaining two have a Kings Crown helmet plate. All five helmets have a leather sweat band with string adjustment cord and chinstrap. The first is a six panel Kings Crown helmet to Somersetshire Constabulary, it has slight marks to the right side of the blackened helmet plate and the chin strap has parted on one side. The second, a two panel Sheffield City Police SOLD , size 6 3/4" which has a Kings Crown helmet plate to Constable '262'. This has a chin strap and is stamped by the manufacturer Everitt W. Vero & Co Ltd. The third is a two panel (SOLD) Sheffield and Rotherham Constabulary helmet, size 6 3/4" with chromed Queens Crown helmet plate. The fourth is a two panel Gibraltar Police helmet, size 7 1/8" and the last is a Herefordshire Constabulary helmet with blackened helmet plate. The price EACH includes UK delivery. Vintage Issue Dutch Police Black Leather Uniform Belt With Vigilat Ut Quiescant' Two Piece Belt Buckle. Sn 13907:43 - 13907:43 An original vintage issue Dutch Police black leather uniform belt with two piece 'Vigilat Ut Quiescant' belt buckle. The belt is in very good condition, it shows signs of normal wear but is undamaged. The inside of the belt is lined with black coarse felt. It has brass eyelets on the lining for hooks to locate in for adjustments. It retains both leather belt keepers. The belt has a two piece metal, chromed Dutch Police 'Vigilat ut Quiescant' belt buckle, the meaning of the motto is "They (the police) watches lest they (the citizens) can rest". A Victorian Period Halifax County Borough Police Uniform Leather Waist Belt, Buckle and Clasp. Sn 13907:42 - 13907:42 The Halifax County Borough Police was formed in 1848 and amalgamated in 1868. This is an original Victorian period uniform leather waist belt, buckle and clasp. The waist belt is dark brown leather and shows signs of being worn. The belt is in excellent condition. It is 49" long when laid out flat. It has a buckle which allows it to be adjusted, in the photographs it is adjusted to 45". The belt has one leather loop. The clasp is chromed brass (non-magnetic) and has the Halifax County Borough Police crest in the centre along with "Halifax County Borough Police" around the outside. The leather fob behind the clasp has a number stamped on the reverse "55" making it a researchable item. The stitching on the belt is all present and secure. The price includes Uk delivery.
