This is an excellent original Derbyshire Constabulary Constable's / Sergeant's 2 panel helmet with a WW2 King's Crown night helmet plate and chin strap. It has a perfect exterior finish with correct 2 panel construction and ornate black painted vented rose top mount and headband with side rosettes. The rose and headband have the original blacking. It is fitted with it's original blackened King's Crown plate with central silvered Derbyshire Crest. Inside it is in good condition with a leather sweat band and chinstrap with small buckle. It has a blue ink stamp on the inside of the sweat band, a makers name and size which is illegible. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 10272

This is an excellent original post 1953 Lancashire Constabulary male Constable's/ Sergeant's 2 panel helmet with a Queen's Crown night helmet plate and chin strap. It has a perfect exterior finish with correct 2 panel construction and ornate black painted vented rose top mount and headband with side rosettes. The rose and headband have the original blacking. It is fitted with it's original blackened Queen's Crown plate with central silvered Lancashire Rose. Early WW2 1939 Dated Home Front, British Police Inspector's 'Tommy' Helmet By BH & C Ltd With Liner & Chinstrap. Sn 9636 - 9636
This is an excellent condition, complete, original, WW2, painted steel Police Inspector's 'Tommy' helmet. The helmet is painted white and has it's original Stenciled navy blue paint lettering 'POLICE'. The inner rim of the helmet is stamped 'ROC VA' & dated 'I (Jan)1939'. It has it's original black oil cloth liner with adjustment cord and sprung webbing chinstrap all of which are completely intact. The chin strap is hand ink marked '981' . The inside of the helmet is marked by the manufacturer 'BH&C Ltd' dated '1 (Jan)1939' and has date size '7'. The helmet is undamaged with no denting and it retains almost all of it's original paint. This is an excellent WW2 Metropolitan Police Special Constabulary Officer's Peaked Cap. It's Dark Navy Blue material is clean and undamaged as is it's excellent embroided Oak leaf band. It has it's original alloy Cap Badge with King's Crown, Coat Of Arms & wording 'Metropolitan Special Constabulary'. The rear of the badge has the correct lugs & split pin. It has a patent leather peak & The Cap's liner is clean with just the service wear to be expected. The crown of the cap has a nice label 'Herbert Johnson, 38 New Bond Street london' with Arms and 'Royal Appointment' banner. Following the designation of Manchester Airport under the Policing of Airports Act 1974, responsibility for policing the Airport passed from the Airport Police to the local territorial Police Force, Greater Manchester Police, on 1 August 1976. This is an original City of Manchester Police constables & Sergeants helmet. Established in 1839 Durham Constabulary was one of the first County Police Forces to be formed. This is an excellent post 1953 male Constable's/ Sergeant's Helmet of the Durham Constabulary. It has a perfect exterior finish with ribbed band and rigid Combe to provide greater protection during public disorder with combe plate & blackened Queens Crown Night plate. Inside it is in excellent condition with a leather sweat band with string adjustment cord and chinstrap togehter with additional Public order press stud fastening chin strap for use during riots and public disorder. It has a nice as new manufacturer's label in the Crown of the helmet 'Custodian helmet, Compton Webb Head Dress Ltd' together with Company address. It is approx size UK 6-6 1/2. The North Yorkshire Police Force was formed on 1 April 1974 and was largely a successor to the York and North East Yorkshire Police, also taking part of the old West Yorkshire Constabulary's area. This is a peaked hard top, bowler cap issued to Female Sergeants or Constables in the North Yorkshire Police. It is in excellent condition with blue &white chequered band & correct North Yorkshire Police badge bearing the white rose of Yorkshire and Queens Crown. Royal Falkland Islands Police Hat and Royal Falkland Islands Enamel Badge, size 6 1/2 (53) The hat is in very good condition, the black and white chequered hat band is clean and undamaged, the peak and chin strap are both in very good condition and the chin strap is secure. The hat has a tweed lining as can be seen in one of the photographs and retains the manufacturers label, "A Gannex Product" by appointment to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II and H.R.H. The Duke of Edinburgh. This is a superb example of a police hat with a rare Enamel Police Badge which has the words "Royal Falkland Islands Police " round the outside and "Desire the Right" written over a yellow background below a sailing ship below a raised image of a Sheep. A nice uniform of a West German Police Officer consisting of his green tunic and white topped cap. The tunic is made of officer quality material with a silk lining. It has a label on the collar, "sg 56-1" and a pocket stamp of "Mdl. 1850, 2/Y". (somewhere in all those figures is the size) It has two epaullettes with 3 pips on and silver bullion braid with bright green piping. It has the German type collar badges again with green piping. It has a "Betriebsschutz" arm badge (Operational Protection Police), a 3 medal bar, a gold Kampfsport chest medal and all its buttons. In perfect condition. The matching cap has a white top, gold and enamel cap badge, cockade, green and silver strap. It has a makers diamond inside of Albert Kempf K.G. of Stirndruckfrei and is size 57.
