DEACTIVATED INERT. This is an unfired French WW1 high explosive round for the 75mm Mle 1897 Field Gun which was the main field gun in the French army in the First World War. The high explosive round obviously failed to detonate and the condition of this round is such that it is probably a First World War soldiers bring back trophy. The brass cartridge case is headstamped 75DLC ARS 474 1916 (1916 date) R. The high explosive projectile is stamped round the circumference FFn WD ES-ES N17214N. The projectile is fitted with a brass 24/31 model 1917 RY instantaneous percussion fuze. The projectile is fitted with a screw in steel fuze and gain adaptor. This was a superquick fuse and was used on high explosive projectiles. This is a scarce Austrian Presentation WW1, 1916 dated George Roth 37MM Trench Gun (3.7 cm Infanteriegeschütz M.15) High Explosive Bouncing Round (37x57R) used for short range trench warfare and later on the Italian mountain front. This gun was an infantry support gun and as such was easily hand portable during assaults. This round consists of a short brass cartridge head stamped GR in a monogram (George Roth) S 21t 1916 (1916 date). The steel bouncing projectile has 2 thin copper driving bands. This is a scarce and Austrian WW1, 1916 dated George Roth high explosive bouncing round for the 37MM Trench Gun (3.7 cm Infanteriegeschütz M.15) (37x57R) used as a short range gun in trench warfare and later on the Italian mountain front. This gun was an infantry support gun and as such was easily hand portable during assaults. This round consists of a short brass cartridge head stamped GR in a monogram (George Roth) S 508 1916 (1916 date). The steel bouncing projectile has the later single thin copper driving band (to save of copper) which carries engraving off the rifling and the recessed base so that the round is the same length as the twin driving banded round. The projectile contains the screw in detonator holder between the nose of the projectile and the body. A Portuguese M/968 Commando / Airborne 60mm mortar in its transit case with tool. The mortar is designed to be fired by holding in the hands in a vertical position whilst standing on the sturdy leather strap at the appropriate point as designated by the series of brass distance plaques. It has an instruction book and instructions and check lists with it. The wooden transit case is nicely painted and fitted inside, with rope handles. INERT DEACTIVATED. The Russian M1943 ZiS-2 anti-tank gun was developed in 1940 and was introduced as the main infantry anti-tank gun in June 1941 until being replaced by the 76.2cm ZiS-3 anti-tank gun. This is an unfired near mint, 1959 dated, 57mm Anti-Tank Gun (57x348R) APCBC/HE/T (Armour Piercing Capped Ballistic Cap/High Explosive/Trace) round for the ZiS-2 anti-tank gun first introduced in 1941 as the new standard anti-tank gun in the Soviet Army. The twin copper driving banded steel projectile retains all of its original black painted finish and is stencilled round its circumference in white ngp-2711A on one side and 599 3-59 (March 1959 date) 57 (57mm) on the other side. The base of he projectile is screwed for a percussion / tracer base fuze. The brass cartridge case has the following headstamps 66 1 C 556 and Mb. The brass washed steel cartridge case is headstamped 30 188 over W 176CA. the cartridge case is also stencilled in black round its circumference MPAKT. YMBP-271M 27-43 14/7 27/K 160-76-732 and a monogram. The brass percussion primer is stamped VP 1/58 (January 1958). INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired German WW2, 1944 dated 7.5cm PzGr39 (75 x 714R) PzGr39 HE (High Explosive) round for the Pak40 (Panzerabwehrkanone 40), the main anti-tank gun used by the German army from 1942 onwards, especially on the Eastern Front. The high explosive projectile retains most of its original green painted finish and has a single iron driving band. The projectile is stamped round its circumference 13e cuc 8 44 (August 1944) 6 over 203 together with a feint black roman numeral III. The projectile is fitted with a alloy KIAZ23 nose fuze which is stamped round its circumference KIAZ23 128 and a waffenampt. There is a delay setting screw on the side of the fuze. DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a Rare, German unfired WW2, 1941 dated German 10.5cm (105 x 766R) High Explosive (HE) round for the 10.5cm Flak 38 & 3 Anti-aircraft Guns. The gun was also used by the Kriegsmarine under the designation 10.5cm/65 DK C/33 and installed in the Bismark and other capital ships. Due to the weight of these guns, although mounted on a wheeled cruciform base, they were used in static locations due to their poor mobility. The projectile retains most of its original yellow painted finish and has two unfired copper (KPS) driving bands. And is stamped round the circumference 41 (1941 date) DEV over CSS 48 KPS (bimetallic driving band (50% copper). The projectile is fitted with a steel Zt.Z.S/30Fg1 nose time fuze which is stamped round its circumference Zt.Z.S/30Fg1 W ccw (Kuttroff, Gebr., Doubleketten- und Bijouteriefabrik, Pforzheim) 1944 (1944 date) Waa873. This round has a steel cartridge which is head stamped euk awt (Wuerttembergische Metallwarenfabrik AG, Geislingen (Steige)) O 42 (1942 date). This is a rare, unfired, German WW2, 1944 dated, 7.5cm (75 x 640R) Pzgr 39 APCBC/HE (Armour Piercing Capped, Ballistic Cap / High Explosive round for the Panther (Panzer V) tanks KwK42 gun and Jagdpanzer IV, Sd.Kfz. 162 tank destroyer. The Panther was built later on in WW2 as a replacement for the Panzer III & IV. This round has a steel case and has a headstamp 30 44 (1944 date). The electric primer is stamped 578 . The unfired Pzgr 39 projectile has a single iron driving band and the base is screwed for a percussion base fuze.
