SOLD SOLD (20/05) 1950-1985 German B.S.F. (Bayerische Sportwaffenfabrik) Model S20 .177 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol. AI 810 - AI 810 An excellent German B.S.F. (Bayerische Sportwaffenfabrik) Model S20 .177 calibre Break Action Air Pistol. These pistols were made between 1950 & 1985 (see page 100 of the Blue Book of Airguns By Beeman). The wood stock of this weapon is inset with correct Green & Gold BSF manufacturer roundel on one side of the pistol grip and brass disc with model designation ‘S20’ on the other side. Its metal work retains its original blue finish. The barrel block is crisply stamped with model detail 'Mod S20' & BSF trademark. It is fitted with blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. It's loading & firing action work with a strong spring action. It has a 6 ¾” clean rifled barrel (14 ½” overall). The pistol is serial number '3912' which is on the underside of the barrel block. **VERY RARE**ONE OF ONLY 14,500** 1st Series, 1st Type, 1950-1954 B.S.A. Club Airsporter .177 Calibre, Under Lever, 'EA' Prefix Serial Number Air Rifle With 1946 Patent Number 607.045 For Piston Head Improvement. Sn 22856 - 22856 An excellent condition 1st Series, 1st Type, B.S.A, Club Airsporter .177 Calibre Air Rifle, the fore runner of the BSA Airsporter MK1 Air Rifle. It is serial number EA 17849 which dates it to between 1950-1954. Only 14,500 Club Airsporters were manufactured (see Page 47 of Hillers Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The trigger block is stamped 'Patent Nos 607.045' (this patent for the cone shaped piston head and head chamber was applied for in 1946 and granted in 1947). The woodwork and metal work are all original & in excellent undamaged condition. The metal retains its original blue finish. The rifle has a 19” barrel and measures 44” overall. The cylinder has original crisp BSA model and calibre detail (illustrated). The left side of the stock is nicely impressed with the winged BSA legend. It is under lever cocking and has a ramp blade foresight & adjustable dial rear sight. Its loading and firing actions work as they should with a strong spring action. **RARE**1923 - 1925 British Frank Clarke Birmingham Patent 110999/17 Titan MK 7 Captive Push Rod / Plunger Cocking , Rotating Block, .177 Calibre Air Pistol. AI 912 - AI 912 The inventor and Gun maker Frank Clarke was based at 6 Whittall Street in the gun making district of Birmingham. He was responsible for several gun making designs in the 1900’s including the Titan air pistol series. The 1st variant Titan was issued in 1917 and into the 1920’s seven different versions all with slightly different shapes and loading mechanisms were created. Our Titan is the Mark 7 variant. On our example the hinged steel cocking rod / plunger seated in the grip of the pistol is pushed into the air cylinder until the pistol is cocked (to prevent damage caution should be taken not to insert the rod at an angle). The rear block the rotates to reveal the breech end of the barrel for loading. The block is the rotated back into place and the rod re-seated in the grip recess ready for firing. The pistol is undamaged with all original blue finish and is fully functioning. The front and rear sights are integral to the frame (not seated on the barrel as with other variants). The rotating block is numbered ‘27’. The frame has Titan Air Pistol model and patent detail (illustrated). The smoothbore barrel is 7” length and it measures 8 ½” overall. **SUPERB STOCK**German Weihrauch HW99S (Sport Trigger) Hull Cartridge Import .22 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle With ASI 4x40 Wide Angle Image Moving Telescopic Sight. Sn 22837 - 22837 The Weihrauch name has been associated with solid build quality and reliability for many years. Ever since the HW80 transformed the hunting rifle market, Weihrauch’s range of solid, accurate springers have been a popular choice for air gunners. This is an excellent HW99S (‘S’ denotes Sport Trigger) in .22 calibre imported to the UK by Hull Cartridge. The rifle has a 15 ½” sighted barrel and measures 41” overall. **VERY RARE**1925-1930 Webley Mark II Target Model .177 Calibre Air Pistol With Straight Grip. AI 800 - AI 800 This is an excellent,Webley Mark II Target Model .177 Calibre Air Pistol. These pistols were produced between 1925 & 1930 and are very rare to find (see page 41 of Bruce's book Webley Air Pistols). It has excellent undamaged metal work with original finish faded to a nice plum colour in areas and correct straight grip with undamaged black bakelite grips with 'WS' monogram roundels. The barrel's bore is clean with typical light rifling. The left side of the frame is stamped serial number '34407' and with the 'Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham & London' manufacturers detail together with 1925 Great Britain, Belgium, France, USA & Canada Patents. The right side is marked ' Webley Air Pistol Mark II (Target Model) Made In England' together with Japan, Switzerland, Australia, Spain Italy & Germany 1923 and 1924 Patents. The front of the air cylinder has matching number ‘407’. It has an adjustable rear sight & the barrel strap beneath the blade fore sight is stamped 'MK II .177'.
