Boxed, 1950-1970 U.S.A. Hy-Score Arms Co New York Target Model 802B 6 Shot Repeating .22 Calibre Break Action Air Pistol With Illustrated Instruction Pamphlets. Sn 23484:23 - 23484:23
The Hy Score Model 802B repeating Target Air Pistol was produced by the New York based Hy-Score Arms Corporation between 1950 to 1970. This is an excellent boxed original example. It retains all of its original blue finish (making it the 802B model. 802C designation was allocated to chrome multi shot variants). The cylinder is crisply marked 'Hy-Score Target Air Pistol' & with the Hy-Score Arms New York Address. It is also marked 'Patent Pending Made In USA' (all illustrated). It has attractive brown contoured plastic target grips with embossed HY-Score shields, blade foresight & Adjustable target rear sight. It has an innovative loading action. The weapon has a break release catch on the right side of the frame. The weapon is cocked by 'top' break action. The rear of the cylinder has a knurled dial which is turned to open the loading port, a maximum of 6 pellets are loaded into the breech and the knurled dial is turned to close the breech ready for firing. The pistol is cocked and fired, the breech then rotated and re-tightened, the gun cocked and fired and the action repeated until all pellets are fired. The pistol fires with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original cardboard box with removable lid which has Hy-Score labelling & imagery. The inside of the lid of the box has illustrated instructions. The box contains 3 original illustrated Instruction Pamphlets. The price includes UK delivery. Sheridan Products Incorporated was formed to produce Pneumatic Air Rifles with production beginning in March 1947. The name Sheridan was reputedly in honour of the Civil War's General Philip Sheridan. Sheridan made their ‘C Series’ (Blue Streak) pneumatic air rifles from 1949 to 1976 when the Company was bought by the Benjamin Air Rifle company. Benjamin continued to make Sheridan Model C air rifles in 1977. The air rifles are well constructed Airguns using quality materials. Benjamin Air Rifle Company continued producing Series C's until 1992 when the company was purchased by competitor Crosman Corporation. Sheridan ‘C Series’ air rifles are scarce to find in the UK. Vintage Racine-made models are highly sought after by collectors. This a near mint Sheridan Racine C Series air rifle. It has all of its original blue finish and the woodwork is undamaged . The rifle is 37” overall length and has a blade fore sight & adjustable rear sight. The frame and barrel are stamped with Sheridan Racine markings, together with ‘C Series’ designation 5mm (.20 calibre) detail and serial number ‘551134’. It is bolt action loading and has the correct safety catch feature. The hinged fore stock is pumped repeatedly to fully charge the rifle for a single shot. The Benjamin Sheridan C9A is a multi-pump pneumatic air rifle produced primarily in the 1990s and early 2000s after Crosman acquired Benjamin Sheridan in 1992. It is the modern iteration of the classic Sheridan Blue Streak, chambered in the distinct .20 calibre (5mm). Sheridan / Benjamin ‘C9A Series’ air rifles are scarce to find in the UK. The Webley Nemesis is a classic Single-Stroke Pneumatic (SSP) model produced in Birmingham from 1994 to 2005. These pistols are a highly regarded Birmingham built vintage air pistol known for its simplicity and accuracy. It is recoilless firing and has a a rifled steel barrel. The Mechanism is Single-stroke pneumatic (cocking the top slide compresses air). Our example is in excellent condition and functions correctly. The pistol has Webley Nemesis model & calibre detail. The LP53 (Luft pistole/ Air Pistol)pistol) was produced between 1953 and1983. It is a .177 calibre air pistol with the same design lines as Walther's famous .22 LR Olympia target pistol. The LP53 is all metal with beautifully formed plastic grip panels. Movie posters for early James Bond films show Bond holding an LP 53 or Olympia pistol instead of his usual service PPK. This example is in near mint condition with excellent finish to the metalwork and brown plastic contoured grips with Walther banners. It has target sights and is stamped on the left side of the frame with the Walther banner and patent detail 'LP Mod 53 Cal 4.5 (.177)' together with 'Made In Germany' & serial number '101138'. The pistol functions perfectly and is contained in its original retail cardboard box with removable lid and Walther labelling. The box contains its original, wood cocking aid, cleaning rod, spare fore and rear sights, original factory test target and original illustrated instruction pamphlets. The price includes UK delivery. 1905-1914 BSA Lincoln Jeffries Patent Improved Model D .177 Calibre Pistol Grip Stock Variant Underlever Air Rifle With Correct ‘Bayonet’ Catch Lever. Sn 23457 - 23457
This is an excellent original BSA Improved Model D Air Rifle. These rifles were made with both straight hand and pistol grip stocks and in different variations between 1905 and 1914 (see page 50 of the book of the BSA air rifle by John Milewski). This example has its original undamaged pistol grip stock with correct chequered panels on the grip. The stock has a steel butt plate and the shoulder stock is impressed with crisp BSA’s trademark. The ‘Bayonet’ catch cocking arm is marked with Lincoln Jeffries patent information (illustrated). It has a 19 ½” rifled barrel and measures 43 ½” overall. It has a blade foresight and adjustable dial rear sight. The metal work has its original blue finish in very good condition. The air cylinder has crisp BSA Improved Model D information (illustrated). The loading port tap has faint patent information (illustrated). The left side of the trigger block bears the serial number 41692. The loading port area is crisply marked ‘Load’ and has the BSA’s pyled arms trademark. The rifle cocks, loads & fires as it should. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 23457
