**RARE**WW1 1915 Imperial German Army Hans Romh Neu-Ulm Leather Holster For 4" Barrel Mauser C/96 7.63mm Calibre Semi Auto Broom Handle Pistols With Removable Ammunition Bandolier Cross Belt Rig. Sn 21608:12 - 21608:12
This is an excellent, leather holster for 4” barrel Mauser Broom Handle Semi Automatic Pistols. These pistols were usually issued to Infantry troops in a wooden holster that doubled as a shoulder stock. It is unusual to find leather holsters for these pistols. It has a full flap cover with brass stud fastener secured by a leather tab with eyelet. The top of the flap is impressed with German maker detail and WW1 date ‘Hans Romh Neu-Ulm 1915’. The rear of the holster has a leather riveted and stitched belt loop and leather tabs with brass hanger loops to which is attached its ammunition bandolier cross belt which has brass studs and eyelets allowing the holster to be removed from the holster if required. The belt has an adjustable brass buckle. The bandolier belt has 20 individual stitched belt loops for individual rounds of ammunition and a separate riveted leather ammo pouch with full flap cover with eyelet secured by brass stud. (The Browning Hi-Power is a single-action, semi-automatic pistol available in the 9×19mm Parabellum and .40 S&W calibres. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at FN Herstal. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. FN Herstal named it the "High Power" in allusion to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of other designs at the time, such as the Walther P38 or Colt M1911). **VERY RARE**WW1 Era British Royal Navy Air Service (RNAS) Pilot Officer's Brown Leather Holster Number 544 For Webley .455 Service Revolvers & .455 Semi Auto Pistols With Cross Belt. Sn 21668 - 21668
In WW1 the British RNAS were issued with Webley .455 semi auto pistols and Revolvers. This is a rare WW1 era British RNAS Officer's Brown Leather Holster For Webley .455 Service Revolvers & Semi Automatic Pistols. A copy of a contemporary photograph taken in autumn 1914 shows a group of Royal Navy Flight Officer’s & Royal Marine Officer’s, at least 2 of whom are carrying one of these holsters is illustrated in image 1. Our holster has the correct riveted seam, full flap cover with single brass stud and retaining strap with eyelet. The rear has stitched tabs which support a leather cross belt with brass buckle. All rivets are in place and all stitching intact. The front of the holster under the flap is impressed with number ‘544’. There are no visible date or maker marks on the holster or cross belt. An original WWI dated Leather Holster for the Luger 9mm Parabellum Pistols. Made from brown Cow hide, the holster has an integral leather pouch with stud fastener sewn into the inside of its lid for the Luger pistol stripping tool. The holster has a magazine pouch on its right aspect. The flap cover of the holster is secured by a buckle which functions as it should. The holster has a quick draw strap *age related wear but intact* with correct leather toggle. The inside of the flap is impressed with 1916 date and manufacturer detail ‘J.M Eckart Ulmad’ and ‘Lang’ (a previous holder of the holster) All of the leather and stitching are clean & intact. Officers Dated 1975 Quality Canvas Holster for the Browning Hi Power Semi-Automatic Pistol. L 247. - L 247
The Browning Hi-Power is a single-action, semi-automatic pistol available in the 9×19mm Parabellum and .40 S&W calibres. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at FN Herstal. During World War II, Belgium was occupied by Nazi Germany and the FN factory was used by the Wehrmacht to build the pistols for their military, under the designation "9mm Pistole 640(b)". FN Herstal continued to build guns for the Allied forces by moving their production line to a John Inglis and Company plant in Canada, where the name was changed to "Hi Power". The thick white canvas holster has all stitching in place and a nice aged patina. The inside is dated 1975 with MECO (Mills equipment and Co?) 23 1095 99 127 8639 shown in the images. The flap has a strap which attaches through another buckle and the rear has a belt loop and hangers which are all intact. The price includes UK delivery. L 247.
