WW2 1943 Very large Size 7 British WD Airborne Paratrooper’s Camouflaged Denison Smock By C.W.S Ltd. Sn 19599:4 - 19599:4
This is an original WW2 dated British Camouflaged Denison Smock with tail flap and full zip direct from an ex member of British Special Forces (see page 69 of Denison published by Wilson & Military Mode where a similar Denison is illustrated ). It has its original clean and undamaged white cotton label inside ' Smock Denison (Airborne Troops) Size No.7 Height 6ft to 6ft 2in Breast 39” to 41 C.W.S Ltd, War Dept arrow and ink date stamp 1st June 1943'. The inside of the smock also has another small label ‘Size MC 10 10678’ (all illustrated). All material is clean with no mothing. The smock has light service wear. It's full zip works perfectly and it has correct ‘monkey tail’ & 'Newey' marked stud fasteners (the rear of the Denison is absent its studs to support the tail). The price includes UK delivery. This is an original WW2 era superior quality British officer’s private purchase, Worsley Pattern, Cawnpore Style, Overseas Service Tropical Solar Topee Helmet. This is an excellent original solar Worsley pattern topee helmet of the Cawnpore style with a brass cap badge to the East Yorkshire Regiment to the front in the . there is a decorative leather strap over the top of the helmet with 4 air vents and a leather chinstrap. The topee has a quilted red cloth lining with a sweat proof red top with the maders details embossed in gold EXPRESSLY STYLED FOR CHERAG DIN GHULAM MOHAMMED REL PITH SUN PROOF Made in India. The helmet is complete with leather sweatband leather sweatband with plaited bamboo to the inside where the hat touches the head. The khaki canvas cover is undamaged and has its original khaki head band 'Pagri' & vented top mount. All other material and stitching of the helmet & sweatband are clean and undamaged. WWII ‘M43-Luftwaffe’ Field Cap. 19432. - 19432
The ‘M43’ field cap (Feldmütze) was introduced for wear by all ranks on June 11th 1943 as a replacement cap for the older field caps then in use. It was based on the earlier ‘M42’and the Mountain troopers ‘Bérgmütze’ with only minor adjustments. Constructed of field grey material, officers ranks were distinguished by piping on the crown of the cap with silver piping for the ranks of Lieutenant to Oberst, and gilt piping for General officers ranks of General Major, to General Filed marshal, while EM/NCO’S caps were not piped. Sized at Continental 58 (7 1/4 – L) With the German Eagle over Swastika and embroidered badge of the ‘Luftwaffe’. This is a dark blue peaked cap of the Nazi Old Comrades Association Kyfffhauserbund). The cap has a metal eagle with an Imperial Iron Cross of WW1 and the Veterans and enamel badge in a wreath underneath. There is a makers name etc inside the cap but it is difficult to read. A Type 3 WWII Japanese Army Tunic. Sn 18555 - Sn 18555
A Type 3 (3 Shiki-Gun-i) WWII Japanese Army tunic. The Type 3 was introduced in 1943 and was similar to the Type 98 but was made of cheaper materials. Type 3 uniforms for enlisted men also consisted of only 3 size options compared to the 6 size options for the Type 98. It was produced in various shades of green. Officers could wear the uniform tunic open over a white or light green shirt with or without a black or green tie. Inside on one of the two buttoned internal breast pockets there is a badge with the maker ‘Tailor Koizumi & Co. Kanazawa’. There is a secret pocket with a Japanese symbol embroidered on it. There are two side pockets and two breast pockets to the front. Collar 16”, length 26” and armpit to armpit is 17”. There are a number of old ‘stable’ moth holes to the rear of the tunic. WWII Japanese Late War Hemp Material Tunic and trousers. Super coarse woven body, reminds me of a thick hemp material. One chest pocket. It has 5 black buttons with a cloverleaf design imprinted. It has been worn. Trousers 26” waist and 23” inside leg with a button fly and one front pocket. The tunic is 13” armpit to armpit, 14” collar and 23” in length with one front pocket. This is the type of uniform that was used for the last defence and home front units. The price includes U.K. delivery. Sn 18553
