This is an excellent boxed Webley Junior Series 2 .177 Calibre Air pistol (see pages 95 to 108 of Bruce’s book ‘Webley Air pistols’). It is undamaged with original finish and black plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Junior .177 Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4 Made In England' (In 1958 Webley relocated their factory from Birmingham 4 to Birmingham 21 Postal area. Weapons produced after 1958 were marked either Birmingham or Birmingham 21). The front of the cylinder is stamped with serial / batch number '768'. It has a blade foresight & adjustable rear sight and it cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. It is contained in its original Webley labelled cardboard box with vivid Webley pistol imagery, Junior model detail and Webley's Birmingham 4 address. Original Webley Junior Series 2 instructions are adhered to the inside of the lid of the box. The box also contains an original empty Webley paper pellet packet which is torn. **SOLD**1946-1949, B.S.A Cadet .177 Calibre Break Action Air Rifle. Sn 13815 - 13815
This is a B.S.A Cadet .177 Calibre Air Rifle. It has a ‘B’ prefix serial number ‘B67754’ which dates it to between 1946-1949 (see Page 34 of Hiller’s Book 'The Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The woodwork is undamaged undamaged condition and the metal retains some of its original finish. It has a 15" clean rifled barrel and measures 37 ½” overall. It has a winged blade fore sight and fixed rear sight. The stock is crisply impressed with the BSA Legend (illustrated). The loading and firing actions work as they should. 1970's 'F' Series Webley Premier .22 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 11870:10 - 11870:10
Made C1975 'F' series Webley Premier air pistols were the last of the 1964-1975 era forged steel Premiers to be produced before introduction of the redesigned Webley Premier made of aluminium materials (see page 120/121 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). This 'F' series Webley Premier is in .22 calibre. It is undamaged with original finish and brown plastic grips with embossed Webley logos. The left grip has some scuffs consistent with age and use. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Premier Made In England'. The front of the cylinder is stamped with number '745'. It has a blade foresight and the forward barrel block is stamped '.22'(calibre). It has an adjustable rear sight. It is also stamped on the left side of the grip near to the grip 'F' (series). Post 1974 To 1983 B.S.A. Airsporter MK VI .22 Calibre Under Lever Air Rifle. Sn 11447 - 11447
An excellent condition B.S.A, MK VI Airsporter, .22 Calibre Air Rifle. It is serial number GL 65624 which identifies it as a MK VI and dates it to between 1974 and 1983 (see Page 56 of Hiller’s Book 'A Collectors Guide to Air Rifles'). The wood stock with ribbed butt and metal work are in excellent undamaged condition. The top of the air chamber is correctly marked with the ‘B.S.A. Airsporter' gold coloured electroplated legend and is grooved for telescopic sight. The top of the barrel is crisply stamped with 'B.S.A. Guns Ltd, England .22 Cal' and with the B.S.A 'stacked rifles' logo. It is under lever cocking and has a shrouded fore sight & adjustable rear sight. It has a clean bore with crisp rifling. The left side of the cylinder is stamped 'The Webley Senior Made In England' together with 'oil' and arrow indicator pointing to the oil hole located on top of the cylinder. The right side is stamped 'Webley & Scott Ltd, Birmingham 4' and 'Webley Patents' (The pre 1958 area code 4 was removed from pistols post 1958 after a factory relocation, See Page 85 of Webley Air Pistols by Bruce). 1945- 1958, Webley Mark 1, .177 Calibre Air Pistol. Sn 9449 - 9449
The Webley mark 1 Air Pistol was produced between 1935 and 1964 with refinements being made to the model throughout the production period. This is a nice Post WW2 Webley Mark I Air Pistol. The pistol is stamped on the end of the cylinder with batch number "938". It has the correct Post WW2 milled barrel section to assist grip for cocking and grips with Webley roundels. It has "Oil" with a curved arrow on the left side of the cylinder together with " The Webley Mark 1 Made in England". On the left side just below the fore sight it is stamped with ".177 MK1". The cylinder is stamped on the right side "Webley & Scott Ltd Birmingham 4" (Birmingham 4 was the Webley Pre 1958 address). It is also stamped "Webley Patents". It retains it's original blue finish. (see pages 67-73 of Webley Air Pistols by Gordon Bruce). The pistol cocks and fires with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery.
