C1980 Feinwerkbau sport 127 MkII .22 Air Rifle with a 4X32 ‘Tokyo Scope’ and Leather Sling. 22265. - 22265
Feinwerkbau was founded after the Second World War by senior engineers Karl Westinger and Ernst Altenburger. Until 1960, the production and delivery of precision parts for well-known companies was the main source of income for the young company. In addition, an electromechanical calculating machine was developed, which was considered state-of-the-art at the time and was manufactured in large quantities by the Olympia factory in Wilhelmshaven. Until 1975, all Olympia calculators were developed in Oberndorf until they were ready for series production. After the re-establishment of the German Shooting Association, the two founders of the company, both experienced gunmakers, developed the first competition air rifle with side cocking, a fixed sight line and a patented recoil system for a vibration-free shot. This air rifle was sold for the first time in 1961 and within a very short time almost all existing records were broken. The stock is very nice beech on this model and nicely proportioned to the size of the rifle with a good cheek-piece, Monte Carlo comb section chequered pistol grip but not forend, and sling swivel loops fitted to the rear butt section and on the barrel block. This rifle is in good original condition, the blueing on the action has slightly faded on the cylinder and barrel but generally it is in good order *the trigger has been weighted*. The beech stock is in excellent condition with no splits or cracks there are a few minor marks to the finish but nothing serious it is fitted with the factory sling loop. It comes with its original factory front tunnel sight and rear open sight. The serial number is ‘29432’ which dates it to 1979-1980. The rifles loading & firing action work crisply and smoothly. The price for this very original air rifle with scope includes UK delivery. NB As a post 1939 Air Weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale & delivery of this item. 22265.

*As New 11.47 ft/lbs* Air Arms Pro Sport Walnut .22 Air Rifle with an ER 4-16x44 SFIR Scope. AI 588. - AI 588
The Pro Sport by Air Arms is quite often regarded as one of the best spring-powered air rifles available today. This rifle is an under-lever, but instead of the lever being out the front of the rifle, upsetting the balance, it's neatly recessed within the stock, keeping the balance nicely proportioned. Along with this revolutionary design, the Pro Sport has the tried and tested 'CD' trigger system for a crisp and clean let-off every time. An anti-bear trap system is built into the rifle, which prevents the rifle from firing when the cocking arm is open. The mechanism inside the Air Arms Pro-Sport slides on synthetic bearing material, which reduces friction in both firing and cocking. The overall Length is 1050mm, barrel Length 243mm. The previous owner found the rifle not to their liking and it appears relatively little used (if at all) as it still has the original swing tag in place. The metalwork *small mark to the tip of the barrel* and Walnut woodwork *small mark to the left-hand side fore below screw* are very good. The pistol grip cap is marked and will be addressed before sale. The rifle comes with an as new T-Eagle ER 4-16x44 SFIR Scope. The rifles loading & firing action work crisply firing at a respectable 11.47 ft/lbs. Serial No-182177. The price for this very original air rifle and scope includes UK delivery. NB As a post 1939 Air Weapon the restrictions of the Crime Reduction Act apply to the sale & delivery of this item. AI 588.

*Scarce Pre-WWII* Early Model Millita Original ‘V’ .177 Air Rifle by F. Langenham. 22253. - 22253
The story of Langenhan begins in 1842 Germany in the town of Mehlis, Thüringen with Valentin Friedrich Langenhan (10th June 1819 – 2nd March 1886). Valentin, who at this time was 23, along with his father, Johann Gottlieb Langenhan, 51, bought a shop in which they set up their gunsmith business. Together they produced and sold various gun parts such as flintlocks, hair-set locks, guards, caps, tools and knife blades. Johann (16th May 1791 – 15th January 1883) was a master gunmaker and personally trained his son Valentin in the art. It is said that Valentin preferred to use his second name Friedrich which is frequently seen in Langenhan company literature. Perhaps this was to differentiate himself from another Valentin Langenhan who operated an iron and steel works that was also located in Mehlis. This example being the rifled version with the under latch, it comes with the F.L.Z. trademark stamped to the air chamber and an Original V within a circle stamped to the side of the stock. The serial number is stamped to the left side of the air chamber-L37042. See page 161 of The Collectors Guide to Air Rifles by Dennis Hiller for reference. The metalwork is good with only minor age-related pitting in areas. The wooden stock and butt plate are in very nice condition also, with a nice patina. It cocks and fires perfectly with a strong spring action. The price includes UK delivery. 22253.
