A 1123 - A 1123 Michel Jamar, arms manufacturer in Liege, boulevard of Avroy, 16 then street Saint Jean, 26. From 1888 to 1892, he deposited 7 patents for inventions and in particular for revolvers. This is a 5 shot 7mm double action pinfire revolver made by Michel Jamar Liege. It has a 3” octagonal barrel. The barrel’s rifled bore is clean. The metal work has proof / inspection marks and the side gate has the maker’s initials ‘MJ’. The cylinder is engraved with banner ‘The Guardian Model Of 1878’. The metal work has even patina. And panels of engraved foliate decoration. It has a captive ejector rod, folding trigger and undamaged ebony grips. It has a post fore sight. The pistols firing mechanism works crisply in both single & double action. The price includes UK delivery.
