German K98 Sawback Dress Bayonet By J.A. Henckels, Scabbard and Frog. Bayo 145 - Bayo 145 / 12028
This is a scarce dress bayonet which has a working press stud and slot to fit a rifle. The blade is marked with the Manufacturers logo and name "J. A. Henckels Zwillingswerk" and an image of the 'Dancing Twins' above. There are no military or other markings on the bayonet. The grips are black chequered plastic held by three rivets. The crossguard is the standard, curved upwards on one side and the pommel is the standard birds head type. The scabbard is all steel, painted black and the frog is the cavalry type. Turkish M1935 Bayonet and Scabbard. Bayo 135 - Bayo 135
This is a Turkish M1935 bayonet which has been modified by the addition of an extra muzzle ring welded behind the existing one. In 1935 the Turkish authorities decided to streamline their vast array of weapons and standardise them to a 1903 style rifle and 250mm bayonet blades. Some bayonets were newly made and others were converted as the Turks held many different types of weapon. This has the markings of "ASFA" for 'Arisaka Fabrika' or military factory stamped onto the pommel together with a serial number "225882". The blade is fullered but devoid of markings. The scabbard is all steel and the frog stud is marked with "OE WG" which is the Austrian markings of the state arsenal together with an eagle and "83". (see Martin J. Brayley an Illustrated History of Bayonets book, pages 219 & 221). This is a scarce bayonet. especially with the muzzle ring modification. The price includes UK delivery. Bayo 135

Turkish All Steel Ersatz Bayonet & Scabbard. Bayo 123 - Bayo 123
This is an all steel bayonet made by Turkey and not a modified German one. It fits the Mauser rifle and has a slightly stepped muzzle ring and a small recess in the crossguard between the hilt and the muzzle ring. Turkish markings of a star and crescent are stamped on the crossguard and a serial number "29771". The blade is a single edged, becoming double edged towards the tip. The scabbard is all steel. (see White & Watts The Bayonet Book Item 630 Page 278 & 282 for an identical item). This is a scarce bayonet as most Ersatz bayonets in Turkish use were of German Origin. The price includes delivery. Australian WW2 February 1945 Owen Machine Gun Mark 1 Bayonet And Scabbard. Sn ED 2195 - ED 2195
An original WW2 dated Australian Made Owen machine gun Mark 1bayonet in its correct scabbard. The bayonet, made at Orange Arsenal, is fitted with smooth wooden grips secured with two bolts, and a blackened single edge blade with 5” fullers which measures 10". This was a new blade as opposed to the Mk1/1 which was a converted No 1 bayonet, (1907 pattern), with fullers running through the point. The bayonet has a straight cross guard and muzzle ring. The ricasso is stamped on one side with 2 45 (February 1945) MA over 1907 over 1 . The other side of the ricasso is stamped X OA and WD arrow. The bayonet has a fixing mortice and a cleaning hole in the pommel along with a sprung button release. The slab grip is stamped SLAZ42 (Slazenger Australia). The scabbard is brown leather with blackened steel mounts. The steel chape is stamped "OA" (Orange Factory Australia). The leather scabbard is stamped with Mangrovite 44 (a small town in Australia where the scabbard was made and 1944 date. The scabbard is as also stamped a WD arrow over B , see item A13, pages 278 and 279 of Skennerton. Both the bayonet and scabbard are in very good condition. The price includes UK delivery. Italian 1891/38 Bayonet & Scabbard. Bayo 111 - Bayo 111
This is the fixed blade conversion from the folding blade by the addition od a new cross guard and is contained in its steel scabbard which unfortunately is missing the frog stud. However not an easy bayonet to find nowadays. (see 'An Illustrated History Of Bayonets' book by Martin J Brayley, pages 161 & 166). The price includes UK delivery. Bayo 111

Nazi Engineer/Pioneer M98 Dress Bayonet By Emil Voos, & Scabbard. Bayo 91 - Bayo 91
A Nazi Engineer/Pioneer M98 dress bayonet and scabbard. The dress sidearm for military and civilian uniformed formations was designated the M98 Dress Bayonet. This bayonet represented a stylised form of the S. 84/98 bayonet purchased by the individual for wear with the walkout dress uniform and was worn by the mainly non-commissioned officers and enlisted personnel. This early dress bayonet has a rifle mortise and push button release. It retains the red felt in the mortise slot. This is the long version of the Engineer or Pioneer model of the M98 Dress Bayonet with a 9 3/4" blade which carries the makers logo of Emil Voos. It has "Emil Voos Solingen" etched on the ricasso. The plated steel blade is in excellent condition. The grips are chequered and secured with two screw bolts. It has a metal scabbard with lozenge shaped frog stud. (According to 'German Clamshells' book page 45 by Gary L. Walker & R.J. Weinand this is a scarce bayonet). The price includes UK delivery. Bayo 91
