*U.S. ‘M1 Garand’ Bayonet and Scabbard. BAYO 6295. - BAYO 6295
This is an ‘M1 Garand’ bayonet with an original blade *showing signs of use related wear* and not a cut down ‘M1905’ or ‘M1942’. The fullers do not run through to the tip as with the cut down bayonets, but stop 2 ¾ “from the tip. It is marked to the blade with ‘U.F.H’ ‘Union Fork and Hoe’ and a flaming grenade, with the other side sporting the flaming grenade. The grips are black ribbed plastic held by a single screw-bolt. The scabbard is an olive drab, again freshly made and not a cut down version. It is marked to the top mount with a flaming grenade and U.S., See ‘An Illustrated History of Bayonets’ by Martin.J.Brayley, pages 231-241. A good collectors piece. The price includes U.K. delivery. **RARE MAKER**WW2 Era U.S Army M4 Knife Bayonet By ACC (American Cutlery Co Chicago & New York) For M1 Carbines & U.S. M8 Scabbard By BM Co (Beckwith Manufacturing Company). Sn 19855 - 19855
This is an original WW2 US M4 Knife Bayonet by ACC (American Cutlery Co Chicago & New York) complete with its original M8 scabbard by BM Co (Beckwith Manufacturing Company), see page 107 No.1 of Cole’s book US Military Knives Book III which shows an illustration of an M8 bayonet guard marked the same as ours). The bayonet is in excellent condition. It has the correct compressed leather rings handle. Its steel blade measures 6 ¾” length. The cross guard is stamped 'US M4 ACC' and with the Frankford Arsenal ‘ignited grenade’ mark. The pommel has the correct ‘pincer’ bayonet release catch and inspection marks. Its olive green plastic scabbard has a single retaining strap with brass press stud fastener and blackened wire belt bar. The steel throat mount is correctly stamped 'U.S. M8' and with ‘BM Co’ manufacturer detail. This is an original WW2 US M4 Knife Bayonet by Utica complete with its original M8A1 scabbard by the VP Co (see page 107 No.8 of Cole’s book US Military Knives Book III). The bayonet is in excellent condition. It has the correct compressed leather rings handle in very good condition. Its razor sharp blackened steel blade measures 6 ¾” length. The cross guard is stamped 'US M4 Utica' and with the Frankford Arsenal ‘ignited grenade’ mark. The pommel has the correct ‘pincer’ bayonet release catch. Its olive green plastic scabbard has the early holed tip for cord without metal chape and an integral webbing frog with belt loop which has a single retaining strap with brass press stud fastener and blackened wire belt bar. The steel throat mount is correctly stamped 'U.S. M8A1' and with 'VP Co' manufacturer detail. The rear of the scabbard has the cast ‘VP’ above ‘28’ mark of Victory Plastics. This is an original WW2 U.S army M4 Knife Bayonet by 'Imperial' complete with its M8A1 scabbard by PWH (Pennsylvania Working Home For The Blind). The bayonet which is in excellent condition has the correct compressed leather rings handle. Its parkerised steel blade measures 6 ¾” and has just light areas of rubbing. The cross guard is stamped 'US M4 Imperial' and with the Frankford Arsenal ignited grenade mark. The top of the steel pommel is stamped with inspection marks (illustrated). The pommel has the correct ‘pincer’ bayonet release catch. Its olive green plastic/ fibre scabbard holed tip for cord with metal chape and an integral webbing frog with belt loop which has a single retaining strap, brass stud fastener and steel belt bar. U.S. M1 Bayonet and Scabbard for the Garand Rifle By U.F.H. (Union Fork and Hoe). BAYO 2618 - BAYO 2618
This is an M1 bayonet with new made blade by U.F.H. (Union Fork and Hoe) U.S. and has the Flaming Grenade (Frankford Arsenal). The grips are plastic and are held to the bayonet by one screw bolt. The fullers on the blade do not go down to the tip, stopping 2 ¾ inches from the tip. The blade is in very good order and is showing signs of service wear. The bayonet is stamped on the ricasso with U.F.H. (Union Fork and Hoe) U.S. and has the Flaming Grenade (Frankford Arsenal). The bayonet is carried in its near mint composite olive green plastic scabbard with a steel mouthpiece on which is stamped the U.S. flaming grenade. The bayonet is virtually identical to the one shown as in item 929 on pages 412 and 436 in The Bayonet Book by White and Watts. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 2618.

WWII US Korea M1AI Thompson Submachine gun Magazine Pouches in Webbing Carrier. MISC 891. ( Now 1 x available) - MISC 891
The Thompson was widely adopted by the U.S. military during World War II, and was used extensively by the Allied troops during the war. It was designated as the M1928A1, M1 and M1A1 during this time. More than 1.5 million military Thompson submachine guns were produced during World War II. The Thompson saw early use by the United States Marine Corps during the Banana Wars, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Irish Republican Army, the Republic of China, and the FBI. These examples hold the 20 round magazines and have five pouches. Two sets of five pouches has ‘Auto Ordnance Corp – Bridgeport , Connecticut- Reg in U.S. Off’ (Auto-Ordnance Corporation (AOC) was set up by General John Taliaferro Thompson in 1916). And one set of five pouches has ‘The Seymour Products Co- Seymour Conn’ (Seymour Manufacturing, founded in 1872 and is one of the oldest tool manufacturers in North America). All of the pouches and magazines are in excellent condition with good brass fasteners to the front and utility belt hoops to the rear. *The price is per set of 5 mags with webbing* UK delivery is included in the price. U.S M4 Bayonet and Scabbard for the M1 Carbine. 19171 - 19171
The M4 bayonet, like the M3 fighting knife that preceded it, was designed for rapid production using a minimum of strategic metals and machine processes; it used a relatively narrow 6.75-inch bayonet-style spear-point blade with a sharpened 3.5-inch secondary edge.[1] The blade was made of carbon steel, and was either blued or parkerised. Production of the grooved leather handle was later simplified by forming the grip of stacked leather washers that were shaped by turning on a lathe, then polished and lacquered. The steel cross guard had a bayonet muzzle ring and the bayonet fastener is on the pommel. Later models used a black moulded plastic handle. The basic design would be used for the later M5, M6 and M7 bayonets. This example has unmarked plastic chequered grips, with ‘U.S M4’ imprinted on the cross guard. The blade looks to have been sharpened, but is free of any nicks or marks. The scabbard is the correct issue in drab olive, the plastic and webbing are mark free. An excellent addition to anyone’s collection. The price includes U.K. delivery. 19171.

U.S. ‘M1’ Garand Bayonet and Scabbard. BAYO 733. - BAYO 733
This a lovely dated blade ‘M1’ bayonet that has been cut down from an ‘M1905’ long bayonet, denoted by the fact that the tip. The blade is marked with ‘S.A.’ (Springfield Arsenal) over a flaming grenade and ‘1918’. The other side carries ‘U.S. over 856482’.This bayonet was converted by ‘A.F.H’ (Allied Fork & Hoe Co) and is stamped to the top of the hilt with ‘A.F.H’. The grips are black plastic held by a single screwbolt. The scabbard is an olive drab camouflaged early example with ‘U.S. M7’ stamped to the topmount and not the later flaming grenade with ‘U.S.’. See ‘An Illustrated History of Bayonets’ by J.Brayley, pages 231-241. This is a very good Garand variant worthy of any collection. The price includes U.K. delivery. BAYO 733.

This is a nice ‘M1 Garand’ bayonet with an original blade and not a cut down ‘M1905’ or ‘M1942’. The fullers do not run through to the tip as with the cut down bayonets, but stop 2 ¾ “from the tip. It is marked to the blade with ‘R.I.A.’ (Rock Island Arsenal) a feint 1918 date and a flaming grenade with the other side carrying ‘U.S. over a feint 355805?’ The bayonet metal parts appear to have been chromed, possibly for ceremonial use. The unmarked grips are black ribbed plastic held by a single screwbolt. The near mint scabbard is an olive drab, again freshly made and not a cut down version. It is marked to the top mount with a flaming grenade and U.S. the rear of the scabbard carries ‘VP 29’ denoting manufacture by ‘Victory Plastics’ , see ‘An Illustrated History of Bayonets’ by Martin.J.Brayley, pages 231-241. A good collectors piece with maker marked scabbard. The price includes U.K. delivery. BAYO 731.

This is a rare M1 bayonet and not a cut M1905 or M1942 blade. The grips are plastic and are held to the bayonet by one screw bolt. The fullers on the blade do not go down to the tip, stopping 2 ¾ inches from the tip. The blade is in very good order and is showing signs of service wear.The bayonet is stamped on the ricasso with A.F.H. (Union Fork and Hoe) U.S. and has the Flaming Grenade (Frankford Arsenal). The crossguard is stamped ‘5058’. The bayonet is carried in its correct composite olive green plastic scabbard *unfortunately showing some etching/damage* with a steel mouthpiece on which is stamped the U.S. flaming grenade. The bayonet is virtually identical to the one shown as in item 930 on pages 412 and 437 in The Bayonet Book by White and Watts. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 719.
