WW1 British WD 1917 Webley & Scott MK III* Brass Trench/ Signal Flare Pistol With Flared Muzzle**UK ONLY 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1478 - D 1478 An original British WW1 1917 MK III* Brass Trench/ Signal Flare Pistol With flared muzzle by Webley & Scott. The pistol has a 5 ¾” barrel with Flared muzzle & slab wood grips which are secure & undamaged. The mouth of the flared muzzle is dented as can be seen in the images. Deactivated to UK only specification in 2024, the pistol breaks open as it should & it cocks and dry fires. The pistol has clearly defined Webley & Scott manufacturer's name, model and War Department inspection stamps on the left side of its frame together with '17' (1917) date (all illustrated). It also has serial number '72232' and W&S Winged Bullet on its right side (illustrated). The pistol is complete with military lanyard ring. **SCARCE**MINT**British WD L59A1 (No.4 ) Drill / Instructional Rifle Converted From WW2 1943 No.4 Rifle With Original Webbing Sling**UK 2001 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 22259 - 22259 After WW2 Drill Purpose Only rifles were made from de-commissioned parts of WW2 No 4 .303 calibre rifles and issued to Army, Navy & Air Force recruits and cadets for training. The weapons were issued a new model number L59A1 (see page 431 of the Lee Enfield Story by Skennerton). This is a deactivated near mint example of the L59A1 drill rifle. Most of the L59A1 rifles that have been available to collectors have been in very poor condition due to their drill use however this rifle is exceptional, the metal and wood both being excellent. It is crisply marked with the model designation ‘Drill Rifle L59A1’ at the breech (illustrated) and number 19941. The grip strap has some original No 4 rifle markings consisting of WD arrow mark,1943 date & matching number ‘BE19941’. The gun has original white paint bands with black stencilled ‘DP’ (Drill Purpose) armoury marking and red highlighted inspection port for demonstration purposes. The rifle has the correct winged foresight and flip up rear sight which incorporates a peep sight. The rifle has a bayonet lug and sling swivels fitted with original webbing sling. The L59A1 makes an excellent demonstration rifle. Deactivated to UK specification in 2001 the rifle cocks and dry fires and the magazine can be removed. WWI Era German Hebel 27mm Trench Flare/ Signal Pistol. **UK 1997 Deactivation Certificate** D 1475. - D 1475 This is a good WWI era German Hebel 27mm calibre Flare Pistol. These large, framed pistols were made from casing rather than being machined from a block, making it quicker to produce and giving its distinctive "case" finish. It has a 9" Barrel and measures 14" overall. It has undamaged wood grips with just the bumps and bruises to be expected with age and service use. It's lever opening action works & it cocks & dry fires. The left side of the frame is stamped with serial number '267'. The right and left sides have Imperial inspection marks. The butt is fitted with its original military lanyard ring. Post 1975 Italian Investarm 20 Bore 3” Magnum, Double Barrel Over & Under Shotgun Wall Hanger**UK 1995 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 10488 - 10488 Founded in 1975 by the three Italian Salvinelli brothers, Investarm can boast years of experience in the manufacture of hunting guns. This a double barrel Magnum shotgun by Investarm. It has undamaged wood furniture with finely stippled wrist and fore stock panels & rubber recoil pad. The shotgun has double 25” blued steel barrels set over & under with centre rib and double triggers. It measures 42” overall. It’s plain ribbed ‘hard chrome’ action is marked ‘Investarm’ together with trademark and Magnum. The gun has a brass bead fore sight. The top barrel rib has a small insert / hole indicating that at some point in its life this gun was set up for ‘Laser’ clay pigeon shooting. The barrel is marked ’20 Gauge 3” Magnum’ and ‘Hard Chrome Made In Italy’. The gun is serial number 414924. Deactivated to UK specification in 1995 the gun’s triggers and top lever move but it does not break open. **SUEZ CRISIS, CAPTURE**Egyptian Hakim 7.9mm Semi Automatic / Self Loading Rifle**EARLY UK 1995 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 9868 - 9868 The Hakim Rifle is a gas operated semi-automatic rifle. It was originally designed by Sweden and produced as the AG-42 Ljungman for the Swedish Army. The tooling and design were later sold to Egypt and the Hakim was produced there during the 1950s and 1960s. There were approx 70,000 made in Egypt. These rifles were issued to Egyptian Military during the Suez crisis and this is most probably a captured weapon from that conflict. The rifle has a 10-round removable box magazine, with latching magazine release catch. It has an unusual cocking action in that the bolt moves forward to open the breech. This is an excellent example with all original wood and metalwork. It has the correct 'cutts compensator' type muzzle, blade foresight, adjustable rear sight, bayonet lug, forward sling bar and rear sling swivel. The left side of the breech is stamped with Arabic text and the right side 'Hakim 7.9mm Made In Egypt'. The rifle is serial number ‘209’ and has other un-matching numbers. WWII U.S. Made Harrington & Richardson Mk VI One Inch Flare Pistol. ** UK 2010 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1473. - D 1473 U.S. made flare pistol by Harrington and Richardson, who had previously made flare pistols during the first world war. These pistols are characterised by traditional manufacturing methods of forging and machining. These pistols were made for Great Britain under the U.S. "Lend-Lease" program, which had started before the U.S. officially entered the war. The Mark IV was ordered from H & R by the British Purchasing Commission on 25th September 1941. 15,000 pistols were ordered from the USA, due to the shortage of British manufactured ones. The top of the machined barrel is marked with the H & R address logo: HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO. WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A. The side of the frame is marked with MARK VI / ONE INCH, giving the specification of the British design. Breaking open the pistol reveals a serial number of 525 P on the bottom of the barrel and 2887 on the bottom front of the grip frame and on the breech locking lever. *Hairline crack on rear spine of right-hand grip-still intact*. *Interesting fact – a Harrington & Richardson Mk VI was used by Sean Connery in the 1971 Bond film Diamonds are forever* It comes with a 1998 Deactivation certificate. WW2 Era British RAF Aircraft Fuselage Mountable Webley No 4 MK 1* 1 ½” Calibre Flare / Signal Pistol **UK 2010 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 1471. - D 1471 These Webley signal pistols were designed to be mounted onto a bracket fixed to the fuselage of aircraft by means of a bracket / bar on the butt of the pistol. The pistols fired coloured flares, either when in distress or for identification purposes. An aircraft fired on would fire the "colours of the day" a combination of two or more colours, changed daily - to prove that they were friendly. There is some evidence that RAF bomber crews were told the German colours of the day, information presumably obtained via the codebreakers at Bletchley Park. It has a black painted steel body which has even aged patina. Its black chequered panel vulcanite grips are undamaged. It has a 4” barrel and measures 7 ¾” overall. The butt has the correct bracket / bar. The pistol is serial number 43125. The action is stamped No.4 Mk1*. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2018, the pistol breaks open as it should, and it cocks and dry fires. The price includes UK deactivation certificate and UK delivery. D 1471. £525.00 |

Marlin USA Safety Model 1892 .22 Calibre Lever Action Rifle with Tube Magazine. **UK/EU DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** D 1564. - D 1564 This is a very good Marlin Model 1892 lever action rifle. It has all its original woodwork and has blued metalwork. It has a 24” barrel and measures 40” overall. The top of the barrel is marked with the Marlin Fire-Arms Co. New Haven address & patents. It has an external hammer & full-length tube magazine. The top of the action is marked 'Marlin Safety'. The underside of the frame is stamped with number '180400'. The action tang is marked ‘Model 1892’. It has a Marlin signature butt plate, blade foresight & adjustable rear sight. Spanish Civil War & WW2 Era Spanish Civil Guard (Guardia Civil ) Issue German Contract Mauser 8x57 Calibre Bolt Action Rifle, WW2 Model 1941 Bolo Bayonet & Scabbard**EARLY UK 1993 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 5971 - D 5971 The Civil Guard (Spanish: Guardia Civil) is the oldest law enforcement agency in Spain and is one of two national police forces. As a national gendarmerie force, it is military in nature and is responsible for civil policing under the authority of both the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Defence. During the Spanish Civil War, 1936-39 the Guardia Civil forces split almost evenly between those who remained loyal to the Republic. Their contribution to the war efforts on both sides were invaluable & proved effective in urban combat. The symbol of the Guardia Civil consists of the Royal Crown of Spain, a sword and a fasces (bundle of rods and axe). This German Mauser is a Spanish military contract weapon issued to the Civil Guard (Guardia Civil ). The woodwork and metal work are in nice undamaged condition. The barrel shank has the emblem of the Civil Guard The barrel is numbered W1938 and has calibre detail (illustrated). It is complete bayonet lug, adjustable rear sight, fixed fore sight, steel butt plate and sling swivels. It has a 23 ½” barrel and is 43 ½” overall length. The rifle is accompanied by its WW2 era Spanish M1941 Bolo Blade Bayonet & Scabbard. The bayonet has a distinctive 9 ½” long Bolo shaped blade and is stamped on the ricasso with Crown Mark (most likely Toledo arsenal). On the reverse it is stamped with number "1523 L". The bayonet has undamaged original wood chequered grips secured with two screw bolts (see 'An Illustrated History Of Bayonets' By Martin Brayley, Page 199). Its original steel scabbard has a frog locket and the throat is numbered 5370 P. Deactivated to early UK specification in 1993 the rifle cocks and dry fires. 1956–1992 Yugoslavian M56 (German MP40) 7.62mm Calibre Sub Machine Gun Folding Stock & Sling With 5 Magazines Leather Magazine Carrier with Shoulder Strap Pouch with Brass Oil Container. Sn 18196:27. - 18196:27 The M56 submachine gun is a Yugoslavian submachine gun chambered in 7.62×25mm Tokarev, designed for use with the Yugoslav People's Army. Initially a state-funded product, it saw use in several conflicts following the breakup of former Yugoslavia including the Vietnam War, Lebanese Civil War & Gulf War. The M56 is a clone of the Nazi German WW2 MP 40 submachine gun, easily distinguished from the MP 40 by its increased length and curved magazine. While inexpensive to produce and easy to maintain, the M56 also proved to be quite effective at range over its German counterpart; its 7.62 mm cartridge providing significantly more penetration over the 9×19mm round found in the MP 40. This is an excellent, M56 sub machine gun. Deactivated to UK specification in 2001 the weapon cocks & dry fires crisply. The cocking handle is marked ‘Ukoc’ (brake) & ‘Otkoc’ (unbreak) & rotates as it should. Its magazine can be removed. This example has excellent metal work throughout, with folding stock that fits snugly and functions perfectly as it should. It has the correct grooved plastic grips and plastic stock. The rear of the breech housing is stamped with Yugoslavian crest and number ‘E-82266’. The bottom of the grip frame has matching number. The weapon comes with 5 original magazines all with stores codes ‘S-35-292-3’. Included is its leather 4 x magazine carrier with shoulder strap. The carrier has 4 separate pockets for individual magazines all with flap covers and retaining straps with eyelets that fasten to brass studs on front of the pockets. The shoulder strap is mounted with a pouch with flap top and press stud fastener. The pouch contains an original brass oil container. The price includes deactivation certificate & UK delivery.
