Early 20th Century, C. G. Bartley, London. 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side, Side Lock Hammer Sporting Shotgun With Rebounding Hammers. **1989 UK DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**. Sn 18330 - 18330 This is a double barrel hammer sporting shotgun by C. G. Bartley of London made sometime in the early 20th Century. The shotgun has 30” steel barrels with a total length of 46 inches. The barrels, set side by side have a central top barrel rib which is engraved C. G. Bartley London together with a bead foresight. The gun has its original walnut stock with a pistol grip and has just the bumps and bruises to be expected with age. The shotgun has double triggers and both the wrist & fore stock have chequered panels. The sidelocks are engraved with rising birds. The deactivated gun cocks and dry fires & the weapon’s top lever break action opens the breech. The gun is for display only and the price includes deactivation certificate** & UK delivery. No.4 MK I & No 5 Jungle Carbine Rifle Parts**UK 2020 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 18260. - 18260 An original, WW2 Factory made Royal Navy Line / Flare & Grenade Launcher Factory Purpose Made From S.M.L.E. No.4 MK I & No 5 Jungle Carbine Rifle Parts. The all original woodwork and metal work of this weapon have wear and patina to be expected. The action is marked No.4 MK I nd it has the padded butt found on No.5 Jungle carbines. The steel grip strap is stamped with what appears to be 1944 date, serial number AX2502 and British wartime manufacturer code M47/C which is BSA Shirley. Matching number 2502 is stamped on the Launcher pod indicating that this launcher and rifle were made and put together at the BSA Shirley wartime factory. The stock has sling swivel and sling bar. The shoulder stock has a period white painted armoury number ‘D22’ and the fore stock has original, steel copper and brass wire strengthening bands. Deactivated to UK specification in 2020 the launcher cocks and dry fires and its magazine can be removed. The price includes deactivation certificate and UK delivery. SOLD SOLD German, Post WW2, K98 Extended 10 Round Magazine. MISC 1007 - MISC 1007 This is a Post WW2 10 round extended magazine for the K98 German service rifle. The magazine replaces the floor plate on the rifle for the 5 round magazine is fitted from below the rifle and is held in with a integral lug and a screw. The magazine is complete with its milled steel follower which is retained by a steel wedge on a chain for transit is in near mint condition. The slot on the left hand side of the magazine is for holding the steel magazine wedge on the chain when the magazine is fitted. The 10 round magazines are unavailable elsewhere. Scottish Alexander Martin Of Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side Hammerless Box Lock Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun**UK/EU 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 21467 - 21467 Alexander Martin (established 1778) was a Scottish gunmaker with various addresses in, Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling. The Company traded until 1988 when it was taken over by John Dickson & Sons (see pages 281-282 of British Gunmakers Vol.2 by Brown. This double barrel hammerless sporting shotgun by Alexander Martin has 26” blued steel barrels. The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and bead foresight. The rib is signed by the maker ‘Alexander Martin Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen & Stirling’. The action has Foliate edged panels with the makers name ‘A. Martin’. It has its original wood stock which has just light bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use and double triggers. The wrist & fore stock have chequered panels. The shotgun is number 2424. Spanish Sabel 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side Hammerless Box Lock Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun**UK/EU 2024 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**Sn 21469 - 21469 The Sabel range of shotguns were made in the Basque region by the Spanish gunmakers Arrietta, Garbi and Gorosabel. This Sabel double barrel hammerless sporting shotgun has 27 ¾” blued steel barrels. The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and bead foresight. The rib is signed ‘Sabel’. WW2 1942 British WD No.4 MK 1/2 Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerley ROF(F) .303 Calibre Rifle With Sling, No.4 MK II ‘Pig Sticker’ Socket Bayonet & Scabbard**2008 UK DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn 21681:7 - 21681:7 An original, 1942 dated, WW2 303 calibre No.4 MK II rifle. The all original woodwork and metal work of this weapon are in excellent condition. It has a winged fore sight, flip up rear sight and brass butt plate with trap. The rifle is fitted with original webbing sling. The breech is marked 'No 4 MK II' & ROF (F) (Royal Ordnance Factory Fazakerley). The grip strap is dated 1942 and marked with serial number Y23832. Deactivated to UK specification in 2008 the weapon cocks and dry fires & its magazine can be removed. The rifle comes with an original ‘Pig Sticker’ Socket Bayonet. The bayonet’s 8” blade is straight and undamaged, the socket has the correct release catch which functions as it should and is marked with No.4 MK II designation. The bayonet’s original steel scabbard has a frog locket and ball end. The correct zinc alloy throat piece of the scabbard has no visible markings.
