WW2 Era U.S Army Thompson 1928 A1 Auto Ordnance Corp .45 ACP Calibre Sub Machine Gun With U.S Army ‘Co’ 30 Round Stick Magazine, Sling & 4 Inert Deactivated Rounds Of Ammunition**MOVING PARTS**UK/EU 2024 DEACTIVATION**Sn 23330 - 23330 This is an original WW2 era, U.S Army Thompson M1 SMG (see page 312 of ‘The Ultimate Thompson Book’ By Hill). It is an excellent example and its original wood stock, pistol grip and fore stock are all undamaged as is its metal work. The weapon is crisply stamped 'Auto -Ordnance Corporation, Bridgeport, Connecticut, U.S.A.’ and 'U.S Model of 1928 A1’. The weapon is serial number 538845 which is on the frame. The top of the frame is stamped with the Thompson trademark. The metal also has Thompson USA patents and ‘Thompson Sub Machine Gun Calibre .45 Automatic Cartridge’. The Thompson has blade fore sight, Thompson muzzle flash suppressor and Lyman peep sight. It is complete with an original U.S Army ‘Co’ stick magazine. The weapon’s sling swivels are fitted with an original webbing sling. The stock has a steel butt plate with trap. Deactivated to UK/EU specification in 2024 the weapon’s trigger moves, the slide moves backwards and forwards under spring tension and the magazine can be removed. Included are 4 Inert Deactivated Rounds Of .45 ACP brass cased Ammunition. The rounds load into the magazine correctly. WW2 1944 Hispano HS 804 20mm Cannon Recovered from De Havilland Mosquito HX862 on Drum near Conwy, Wales. D 5994 - D 5994 The British 20mm Hispano-Suiza (20x110) HS 404 aircraft cannon which first entered service experimentally in the Battle of Britain in 1940 arming several Supermarine Spitfires and also in the Bristol Beaufighter which carried 4 of the guns internally. The gun however with its original 60 round drum feed although very effective in combat was mechanically unreliable. The gun was later modified to a belt feed which was reliable and served in many aircraft throughout WW2 including the Supermarine Spitfire, Hawker Hurricane, Westland Whirlwind, Bristol Beaufighter, Hawker Typhoon and Tempest as standard equipment or an upgrade of the Browning .303 machine gun as an effective hard hitting gun. This is a sectioned 20mm Hispano HS804 Mark 5 aircraft cannon that was recovered in 1970 from the hills at Drum near Conwy in North Wales from a De Havilland Mosquito mark VI Fighter Bomber HX842. The aircraft originally carried 4 of these cannons and was belt fed with its ammunition. The aircraft was with Number 60 OUT (Operational Training Unit) RAF as a night fighter aircraft on a night intruder exercise from RAF High Ercall in Shropshire as part of their night fighting course. Their briefed route took them towards Prestatyn at 3000 feet and then north west across the Irish Sea at 500 feet. This first leg pf the journey was at 3000 feet to clear the hills near Conwy before descending to the Irish Sea. The aircraft for some reason was flying at about 2300 feet and collided with the summit of the Carneddau mountains at Drem near Conwy at that height. The aircraft was completely destroyed and later that morning the wreckage was found and the pilot and navigators bodies were recovered. This cannon was recovered in 1970 from the crash site and has subsequently been deactivated for display. The cannon has had sections taken out of it to show the inner workings, the sectioned parts being painted in red. The cannon measures 68 inches long is mounted on a wooden display board complete with an inert 20mm HS804 round for display. English Form 12 Bore Double Barrel Side By Side Hammerless Box Lock Breech Loading Top Lever Break Action Sporting Shotgun **COCKS & DRY FIRES UK 2008 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED**D 6053 - D 6053 This double barrel hammerless sporting shotgun has 30” blued steel barrels (47 ¼” overall length). The barrels, set side by side have a central flat top barrel rib and bead foresight. It has its original walnut stock which has just the knocks, bumps and bruises to be expected with age and use and double triggers. At some point in its life a previous owner has had the shoulder stock length professionally extended, by approx. 1” wood stock insert. The stock has a ribbed horn butt plate. The wrist & fore stock have chequered panels and the underside of the stock has an inlaid void brass escutcheon. The action has foliate tooled decoration. The shotgun is number 96026. Deactivated to UK specification in 2008 the weapon’s top lever break action opens the breech, it cocks and dry fires and its safety catch works. **RARE**MATCING NUMBERS**WW2 1941 Russian Army Tula Arsenal 7.62 Calibre Sveta SVT-40 Semi Automatic Service Rifle**UK 2009 DEACTIVATION MOVING PARTS**Sn 23231:9 - 23231:9 Fedor Tokarev created the basic design for the SVT rifle in the early 1930s. The SVT-40 (Samozaryadnaya Vintovka Tokareva, Obrazets 1940 goda, "Tokarev self-loading rifle, model of 1940", often nicknamed "Sveta") is a Soviet semi-automatic rifle. The SVT-40 saw widespread service during and after World War II. This is a rare to find, original WW2 dated example. It has excellent metal work and wood furniture throughout. It has a shrouded blade foresight, adjustable rear sight, sling swivel, sling bar, steel butt plate & cleaning rod. The frame is dated 1941 has Russian Tula Arsenal & inspection marks. The metal and wood have matching numbers ‘2672’. Deactivated to UK specification in 2009 the weapon's trigger moves, the slide cover moves manually under spring tension and the magazine can be removed. Izhevsk Arsenal, 1942 Dated, Mosin Nagant, Matching Numbers, Model 1891/30, 7.62mm Calibre Bolt Action Rifle. **UK 2008 DEACTIVATION CERTIFICATED** Sn - 23231:8 The Mosin–Nagant is a five-shot, bolt-action, internal magazine-fed, military rifle, developed by the Imperial Russian Army in 1882–91, and used by the armed forces of the Russian Empire, the Soviet Union and various other nations. In spite of the age of its design these weapons have shown up in various conflicts around the world until the modern day, being rugged and effective, much like the AK-47 and its variants. The Izhevsk Machine building Plant is a weapons and motor vehicle manufacturer based in Izhevsk, founded in 1807 at the decree of Tsar Alexander I, and is now one of the largest corporations in its field. The Plant manufactured Mosin Nagant rifles during WW1 & WW2 along with AK47 assault rifles and other arms for the Russian War effort. The Plant produces arms for the Russian Military today. This is an excellent WW2 dated Mosin Nagant rifle. The rifle has undamaged metal work that retains most of its blued finish. The bolt has a nice bright surface finish. The original wood furniture in excellent condition and retains the original stampings. The wood has several inspection marks. The barrel shank is stamped with Russian Script and arrow within triangle Arsenal marks of the Izhevsk Plant together with 1942 date. The weapon is serial number KN225 which is stamped on the barrel, bolt, magazine plate and butt plate. The weapon has its original cleaning rod, adjustable rear sight and shrouded post fore sight. The fore stock and shoulder stock are correctly slotted for the sling anchor. Deactivated to UK specification in 2008 the magazine plate opens & the rifle cocks & dry fires and the bolt can be removed. The price includes the U.K. 2008 deactivation certificate and UK delivery. WW1, 1909 Dated, Imperial German, DWM Mauser G98, 7.92mm Calibre, Infantry Rifle. (Matching Numbers) Original Sling OLD SPEC. **UK 2015 DEACTIVATION**. Sn 23265:3 - 23265:3 This is an excellent OLD SPEC WW1, 1909 dated,Imperial German Army G98 7.92mm infantry rifle made by DWM (Deutsche Waffen Munitionsfabriken of Berlin) . The rifle has retains all of its original woodwork and metalwork with a steel butt plate. The rifle has a block & blade foresight, adjustable 2000 metre rear sight, bayonet slide, cleaning rod & both sling swivels including a rare original leather sling. The side of the breech is stamped GeW 98 and the top of the breach is stamped DEUTSCHE WAFFEN MUNITIONS FABRIKEN BERLIN 1909 (1909 date). The rifle carries the matching serial number 4560 on the receiver, barrel, bolt and stock together with 60 stamped on the safety catch. The right side of the butt is a regimental disc which is stamped 13.R.8.6 . 13th Reserve Infantry Regiment (Reserve Infanterie Regiment Nr. 13) 8th Company Weapon number 6. The Reserve Infanterie Regiment Nr. 13 was an Imperial German Army regiment that was attached to the 25th Reserve Infantry Brigade, VII Reserve Corps serving on the Western Front in World War I. the barrel and barrel bands retain much of their original blued finish. The walnut stock is in excellent condition, carrying many inspection stamps with a nice finish and only minor knocks or light bumps from service use. The rifle was deactivated to UK specification in 2015, the rifle cocks and dry fires, the safety catch works and the bolt can be removed.
