British, WW2 Era, Vickers Machine Gun Felt & Leather Shoulder Protector Pad. Sn - 20757
This is a scarce British WW2 era felt and leather shoulder protector pad used to carry a hot Vickers machine gun across a soldiers back to protect him from getting burnt by the hot barrel jacket. The pad measures approximately 16 inches wide and 14 inches high. The felt is approximately 7/8 inches thick and is double thickness at the edges, which is stitched together. There is a leather portion at the top which is stitched on and is stamped BURY FELT in a circle and a crowfoot over 35. There is a cotton tie straps that threads through a sewn in webbing loop reinforced by leather to attach the pad to the body. The pad seems to be unissued and the price includes U.K. delivery. An original ‘The Orilux’ trench lamp )an Orilux Trench torch saved Churchill's life, it was damaged while he fought in the trenches during the First World War. He was holding the torch in his hand when his temporary headquarters were shelled during breakfast) from WWI era with leather case, belt hooks and shoulder strap. The top of the torch shows the name of the torch and the manufacturer ‘J.H. Steward Ltd 406 Strand London’ *one dial is absent*. The lens and pebbled leather are in excellent condition. The leather case is near perfect condition, all of the stitching, strap *small tear in strap leather-see images* and brasswork are in excellent order. The top of the case is imprinted ‘L.O.P. German Reservists Commemorative Schnapps Flask. 20707 - 20707
The Replacement Army (German: Ersatzheer) was part of the Imperial German Army during World War I and part of the Wehrmacht during World War II. It was based within Germany and included command and administrative units as well as training and guard troops. Its primary role was to provide replacements for the combat divisions of the regular army. These flasks were made from glass covered with aluminium and adorned with brightly coloured rope with an image of a German soldier in a countryside location printed with wordswith; zum andenken an meine dienstzeit – to commemorate my service to one side and home to the other. The flask has its inner screwtop and outer lid which doubles a shot vessel. These would primarily carry Schnapps. In excellent condition and worthy of any collection. WWII RBZ Receiver with Original Canvas Carry Bag, Skull Cap and Instruction Manual (Modified Power Supply- For Display Purposes Only). 20594. - 20594
The RBZ is a portable miniature receiver introduce in 1943 by the Emerson Radi Phonograph Corporation in New York for the US Navy. The receiver was used during for example the D-Day landings, but also by resistance groups. The device is powered by a battery pack and uses the helmet as its antenna. It was originally developed for the U.S Navy and was probably intended for the reception of instructions during beach landings. As such, both the receiver and the battery case were originally water tight, and all accessories are cast in rubber. The two cases themselves are made from Bakelite. The skull cap is in very good condition with all stitching intact. The carry bag has a few holes to the canvas, but the strap and metalwork are all intact. GVH-10203 is stamped to the rear. The instruction manual is in good order, with fold out diagrams and no loose or missing pages. The price includes UK delivery. 20594.

This is an extremely rare bomb selector switch panel, it does the same job as the more common version that was fitted to the Lancaster, and was used to select which bombs would be released. Most probably fitted to the Sunderland Flying Boats which attacked mainly U-Boats and enemy shipping due to the fact that this has the option to release a salvo of bombs, which allow for a target to be straddled , more useful for attacking small moving objects like U-Boats. Measuring; 8 cm x 20.5 cm x 11 cm. Marked ‘C16962B’ A Crown M-Selector box 24 volts type II Ref. N250/946-5D/1333 to the top, with a single & salvo selector/Distributor/Container/Safe Except for Jettison and a jettison switch to the front. WW2 1942 British WD Commando Bergen Rucksack By S.N. Ltd with Correct Steel Frame. Sn 15980:22. - 15980:22
This is an original British WW2 Commando Bergen Rucksack. This example is made of rugged canvas & is in great condition for its age. The Bergen un-packed measures approx. 20" x 18" x 11" and is mounted on a steel frame for comfort when carrying. The back of the rucksack has its original reinforced stitched leather anchor points where mounted to the frame and has a top large flap cover with webbing retaining straps and interior lined waterproof cover for additional waterproof protection. The top of the rucksack's body has brass rings stitched into the material for draw cord which is present. The body of the rucksack has a central large flap covered equipment pocket and others on the left & right sides. The rucksack and frame are complete with all of its correct shoulder straps and buckle fasteners. The shoulder straps are ink stamped by the maker ‘S.N Ltd’ & ‘1942' (date) together with WD arrow above ‘20’ mark. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 15980:22.
