**RESERVED**RESERVED** MINT UNISSUED WW2 Era German Luftwaffe Staff Officer’s Full Dress Uniform Aluminum Bullion Aiguillette. Sn 11753 - 11753 An aiguillette (from French "aiguillette", small needle) is an ornamental braided cord most often worn on uniforms, but may also be observed on other costumes such as academic dress, where it will denote an honour. Originally, the word "aiguillette" referred to the lacing used to fasten plate armour together. As such, a knot or loop arrangement was used which sometimes hung from the shoulder. This is an original near mint unissued WW2 era German Luftwaffe Staff Officer’s full dress uniform Aiguillette. The bright aluminum bullion braided cords, collar button loop and slide cords are in fine undamaged clean unissued condition as are its 2 heavy nickel plated, metal conical spike with ball end, needle ‘tags’.
