Original WWII 1943 Framed Berlin Flak Tower Award Certificate To A Named Female Gunner Paula Job. Sn 11021. - 11021 In 1940, Hitler ordered the construction of six anti-aircraft, or “Flak” towers to defend Berlin from enemy aircraft. Of these six, only three were built, and after the war they were “demilitarised” or blown up. This is an original WW2 1943 dated Nazi Certificate awarded to a named female Flak gunner Paula Job. The colourful certificate is undamaged & mounted in a later glazed wood frame. The certificate bears German text , Berlin 1st April 1943 date and signatures of issuing Officers together with the name of the gunner ‘Paula Job’. The frame measures 21 ¾” x 17 ¾” x ¾”.
