British WW2, 1940 Dated Tommy Helmet By Fisher & Ludlow Limited. - HE 838 This is an original British 1940 dated tommy helmet. The helmet retains much of its original worn green painted finish and has the steel safety ring attached to the rim of the helmet. The helmet is stamped to the rear inside rim F&L (Fisher and Ludlow Ltd of Birmingham).1940 (1940 date) MS . The helmet retains its black rubberised sweatband attached to the crossed steel adapter which is held by a single screw to the inside of the helmet. **MINT**UNISSUED**Indochina War Era French 1951 Dated Casque Model 50 / Type 202 Paratrooper’s Training Helmet By Gueneau & Cie Paris. HE 835 - HE 835 The First Indochina War (generally known as the Indochina War in France, and as the Anti-French Resistance War in Vietnam) began in French Indochina on December 19, 1946, and lasted until July 20, 1954. This is a near mint unissued condition Casque (helmet) model 50 (1950) / Type 202 French military paratrooper’s training helmet dated 1951 (a copy of a contemporary image of French paratroopers wearing these helmets is illustrated in image 1). Made of a light padded shell with khaki cloth covering, side and neck skirt and cloth chin cup. The helmet is in excellent order, near mint and un-issued. The inside has its original liner and clean manufacturer label ‘E. HE 834 - HE 834 This is an authentic IDF 2 part helmet used by Israeli Paratroopers in the 1970’s. The helmet comes with its original vintage worn desert sand colour camo net and elastic attaching band. Both parts of this helmet have the official stylised "Z" IDF/Zahal marks. The fibre lining has indistinct marks. The shell manganese shell has ink shell size ‘56’. The camo net has a nice original 1974 dated label with IDF Zahal marks and Hebrew script . Sn 18739 - 18739 An original WW1 era Imperial German Pickelhaube Fireman's Helmet With Liner, Chin Strap & Helmet Plate. The helmet has it's original black leather skull visor and neck protecter. The visor has a brass rim. It has ornate brass bosses. The top of the helmet has a large brass combe with riveted brass cross supports. The front of the helmet has a brass plate star with heraldic arms. The helmet has its original leather chinstrap with buckle supported by Lion's head bosses. The interior of the helmet has its original leather sweatband liner which is clean and undamaged. The liner is ink stamped '8' and has ink letter ‘F’ & ‘B’. It is approx. UK size 7. WW2 1942 British WD Welch Regiment Officer’s Overseas Service Tropical Solar Topee Helmet By Wards With Regiment Formation Patch. HE 831 - HE 831 The Welch Regiment (or "The Welch", an archaic spelling of "Welsh") was an infantry regiment of the line of the British Army in existence from 1881 until 1969. The regiment saw much action during WW2 with around 1,100 officers and other ranks of the Welch Regiment killed or died from wounds with many more wounded. This is an excellent original British WW2 Overseas Service Tropical Solar Topee Helmet to the Welch Regiment. Its khaki canvas cover is undamaged. It has its original khaki head band 'Pagri' & vented top mount. The left side of the helmet has its original Regiment formation patch consisting of bullion heraldic badge of the Prince of Wales. It consists of three ostrich feathers emerging from a gold coronet. A ribbon below the coronet bears the motto Ich dien ("I serve"). The bullion badge is mounted on a red felt patch. It is complete with leather sweatband and original foil liner. The foil lining is perished in places consistent with age and service wear. All other material and stitching of the helmet & sweatband are clean and undamaged. The sweat band is impressed by the maker ‘Wars’ dated 1942 and has WD arrow & size ‘6 7/8’. WW1 U.S Army Model 1917 Trench Combat Helmet (British Brodie) With Ordnance Dept USA Long Valley Ink Stamped Oil Cloth Sweat Band, Net Liner & Chin Strap. Sn 18125:5 - 18125:5 The Brodie helmet is a steel combat helmet designed and patented in London in 1915 by John Leopold Brodie. A modified form of it became the Helmet, Steel, Mark I in Britain and the M1917 Helmet in the U.S. American troops were issued with M1917 helmets to deploy in France late in 1917. The United States government initially purchased some 400,000 helmets from Britain. From January 1918 the U.S. Army began to use helmets manufactured in the U.S. and these helmets were designated M1917. This is an excellent, original, WW1 U.S. Army M1917 combat helmet. It has its original textured olive paint which has some surface wear consistent with age and service use. It has its correct small rivet at the crown and chinstrap bales attached with rivets rather than split pins found on Brodie helmets. It is fitted with its original black oilcloth liner with ‘Ordnance Dept U.S.A Long Valley’ ink stamp within oval. It also has its original net liner and paper instruction label at the crown (illustrated). There are no visible markings on the rim of the helmet. Sn 14727 - 14727 The M15 Adrian helmet (French: Casque Adrian) was a combat helmet issued to the French Army during World War 1. It was the first standard helmet of the French Army and was designed when millions of French troops were engaged in trench warfare. The later M 1926 helmet was made of a single piece of pressed steel without joining rim and top combe. This is an excellent original WW1 M15 French Adrian Combat Helmet complete with its original sweatband liner. The helmet has original chin strap bales. WW2 1941 Dated British Home Front, Worcester City and County Fire Brigade Tommy Helmet By FAI With Liner and Chinstrap. Sn 14254 - 14254 This is an excellent original, WW2, painted steel Worcester City and County Fire Brigade 'Tommy' helmet. The helmet is painted olive green and has its original transfer Fire Brigade badge in silver and red. The inner rim of the helmet is stamped with what looks to "FAI" and "1941". It is also stamped with a number "844". It has its original black oil cloth liner and sprung webbing chinstrap all of which are completely intact.
