**SCARCE**WW1 1918 U.S. Army Warren Leather Goods Company Holster For .45 ACP Calibre Colt 1911 & 1911A1 Semi Automatic Pistols With ‘JAO’ Army Inspector’s Mark. Sn 21952 - 21952
These holsters were the standard holster for American troops carrying the M-1911 or M-1911A1 pistol (illustrated in image 1 is a period WW1 image of a US Army instructor in Uniform posing with with a Colt 1911 pistol. On his waist belt is a holster similar to our example). The holster is in excellent condition. It has a full flap cover with eyelet which fastens to a brass stud on the front of the holster. The flap is embossed with the ‘U.S’ (Army) roundel. On the reverse it has a leather belt loop, secured with stitching and four brass rivets. It also has a brass wire belt hanger. The leather belt loop on the back of the holster is impressed by the manufacturer ‘Warren Leather Goods Co’ above ‘1918’ date and US Army inspector’s mark ‘JAO’. The muzzle end of the holster has a brass ringed hole for thigh cord and is fitted with its original coiled leather thigh cord. All of the stitching & leather is clean and intact. Early Nazi German 1936 Dated & WW2 Era Gerbruder Klinge Dresden Officer’s Brown Leather Hard Case Holster For Luger PO8 9mm Semi Automatic Pistols. Sn 21962 - 21962
An original early Nazi Luger PO8 holster made of brown cow hide. Illustrated in image 1 is a contemporary WW2 image of German troops preparing for hand to hand urban combat on the Russian front during Operation Barbarossa WW2 1941. The Officer in the Foreground is armed with a PO8 luger, grenades and ammo belts and has a Luger holster similar to ours on his belt, while behind him a Soldier checks his rifle. The full cover of the holster is secured with a leather strap and metal buckle, both are in excellent condition. The holster has a magazine carrier stitched to the right aspect. The reverse of the holster has two leather belt loops. On the inside of the holster it retains its quick draw leather pull strap with leather toggle and Luger maintenance tool pouch with flap cover and stud fastener. The rear of the holster crisply impressed with Nazi Waffenamt and by the maker Gerbruder Klinge Dresden together with early Nazi date ‘1936’. All of the leather & stitching is clean and intact. Quality Thick Hand-tooled Dark Brown Leather Western Rig in a 'Basket Weave' Pattern L 277. - L 277
A Quality Western Rig. The belt is lined with green suede, with a tooled dark brown leather belt and holster. The holster is lined in tan leather giving a very nice contrast. The belt measures 45" from end to end. The belt has a tooled 'Basket Weave' pattern on the outside, it is very supple. It has a silver-coloured buckle which is secured with two rivets. The holster is also tooled in a 'Basket Weave' pattern. It measures 18cm x 9cm approx. It has a very striking tan leather lining and is in a slight cut out on the belt as can be seen in the photographs. The price includes UK delivery. L 277.

This pair of British Mounted Officer's Leather Bucket Pistol Holsters are in near mint condition. The hard case, open top, brown leather holsters are clean with all leather and stitching intact. Each holster has original leather straps with brass buckles for saddle attachment which thread through leather belts loops at the throat of each holster. Each holster has an integral stitched leather cup to protect the muzzle opening of a holstered pistol. There are no visible maker or date marks on either holster. Each holster measure 13 ¾” in length. The throat opening of each Holster measures 4 ¼” x 3 ¼”. The price includes UK delivery. WWI O/Ranks British Cavalry Sword Frog and Saddle Straps. 21683:1. - 21683:1.
The word frog relating to swords/bayonets etc is thought to be an adaptation from the Portuguese word froco. This is a barely used thick brown leather sword frog which is in excellent un-used condition. The leather stitching and brass coloured buckles and studs are in perfect condition. WWI West Somersetshire Yeomanry Cavalry Officers Leather Sword Frog & Saddle Straps. 21683:2. - 21683:2
The West Somerset Yeomanry was a Yeomanry regiment of the British Army. First raised in 1794, it participated in the Second Boer War and World War I before being converted to an artillery regiment. It served in World War II (as two field artillery regiments). Post-war it was gradually reduced in strength until the yeomanry lineage of the successor unit was discontinued on 9 November 1988. At the outbreak of the World War I, the regiment mobilised at County Territorial Hall, Taunton, on 4 August 1914 and moved to Winchester. On 15 August it moved with the 2nd South Western Mounted Bde to the Colchester area of Essex, with the regiment at Ardleigh. This example is clearly imprinted to the front ‘W.S.Y.C’ (West Somersetshire Yeomanry Cavalry) the leather is thick and beautifully supple. This is an excellent WWI British Officer’s brown leather holster for use with Sam Browne belt rigs (The Sam Browne belt is a leather belt with a supporting strap that passes over the right shoulder, worn by military and police officers. It is named after Sir Samuel J. Browne (1824–1901), the British Indian Army general who invented it). The holster has a flap top with brass stud that fastens to a retaining strap with eyelet on the body. The rear of the holster has the correct brass belt ring and flap with brass hook. The front of the holster is impressed by the maker ‘L.B. Crout Ltd London’ (Saddle, harness & portmanteau manufacturers) . A WWII Nazi German Walther PP semi-automatic pistol holster (The Walther PP (or police pistol) series pistols are blowback-operated semi-automatic pistols, developed by the German arms manufacturer Carl Walther GmbH Sportwaffen). The holster is marked ‘PP' under the flap. The holster height is 17 ¾ cm and the maximum flap width is 14 ¼ cm. The holster is in good condition and has a fold over flap secured with a steel button. The strap is securely stitched and the cartridge holder is sound. On the reverse it has a leather belt loop. All of the stitching is present and secure. The price includes UK delivery. 21740

American Civil War Era C1862-1865 U.S. Army Rock Island Arsenal Leather Saddle 'Bucket' / Boot Holster For 45-70 Calibre Cavalry Carbines Regiment Marked ‘T.C.’ ( Tennessee Cavalry Regiment). Sn 21685 - 21685
The US Army Rock Island produced firearms, munitions and associated leather work to the Union army during the American civil war. Rock island also housed many Confederate POW’s during the latter stages of the war. This is an excellent Saddle 'Bucket' Holster For 45-70 Calibre Cavalry Carbines made by the Rock Island Arsenal. It is made of black hide leather and has iron buckles with leather straps. The open top bucket has brass plate at the throat to provide protection to the leather when holstering a carbine. The bucket is 13 ½” overall length. The leather of the bucket is impressed by the maker ‘ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL’. One tip of the upper leather strap is impressed with ‘T.C’ most likely to the Union’s Tennessee Cavalry Regiment which saw action in the Civil war (The Tennessee Cavalry was organized at Murfreesboro, Nashville, and Carthage, Tennessee and mustered in for a three-year enlistment on July 15, 1862, under the command of Colonel William Brickly Stokes. The regiment lost a total of 245 men during service; 1 officer and 68 enlisted men killed or mortally wounded, 1 officer and 175 enlisted men died of disease or accident. The 5th Tennessee Cavalry mustered out of service on August 14, 1865). The price for this excellent Civil war piece includes UK delivery. This is an excellent WW1 Era British Mounted Infantry Saddle 'Bucket' Holster For Lee Enfield SMLE .303 Calibre Rifles in near mint condition. It is made of quality brown hide and has brass rivets, rings and leather strap with brass buckle. The open top bucket has padded reinforced edges at the throat. The bucket has sturdy reinforced stitched edges. The muzzle end of the bucket is capped with central hole to allow water to escape when in use in the field. The tip of the strap has WD mark and letter ‘L’ impressed together with an indistinct impressed date (illustrated in the images). The SMLE illustrated with this bucket is not included in the price (SMLE’s are available separately on this web site). The price for this near mint SMLE bucket holster includes UK delivery.
