WW2 Era Home Front, British Police Inspector's Tommy Helmet Marked ‘7’ With Liner & Chinstrap. POL 357 - POL 357
This is a very good original, WW2, painted steel Police Inspector's 'Tommy' helmet. The helmet is painted blue and has its original Stenciled paint lettering 'POLICE' and rank Insignia bands. The inner rim of the helmet is stamped with what appears to be a number ‘7’. It has its original black oil cloth liner and sprung webbing chinstrap all of which are completely intact. The helmet is undamaged with no denting and it retains its original paint. It is approx. UK size 6 ½ -7. Price includes UK delivery. POL 357

Victorian Police Truncheon, Hand Decorated To Forfar Burgh Police, Scotland impressed number ‘2’. Sn 11134 - 11134
Forfar is the County Town of Angus, Scotland. The Royal Burgh of Forfar Police was established in 1857. In 1930 the Forfar Burgh Police became part of the Angus Constabulary. This is an original Victorian Police Truncheon to The Forfar Burgh Police. The staff is made from heavy wood, the body is varnished natural wood. The body of the staff is hand decorated with Queens Crown in Gold, White, Black & Red. Below this is the Royal Cypher "V.R" (Victoria Regina) in gold on a field of Red in the centre of a black oval border with Gold lettering ‘Forfar Burgh Police’. The lower section of the body is impressed with number ‘2’. The wood and decorations have some surface wear consistent with age and use. The truncheon has a contoured grooved grip recessed for wrist strap with rounded pommel. The truncheon measures 16” in length. The price includes UK delivery. Sn 11134

Victorian Police Truncheon, Hand Decorated Queen’s Crown ‘VR’ & Impressed ‘C958’ (Constable Or ‘C’ Division, Officer Number 958). Sn 11129 - 11129
An original Victorian Police Truncheon. The staff is made from heavy wood, hand painted in Red and black sections and varnished. At the top of the baton it has a Queens Crown in Gold & Red. Below this is the Royal Cypher "VR" (Victoria Regina) in gold. The truncheon has a contoured grooved grip holed for wrist strap. Just above the grip the staff is impressed with letter ‘C’ (most likely Constable or ‘C’ Division Police Area designation) above ‘958’ (most likely the Collar Number of the Victorian Constable who was issued with the truncheon). A Victorian Police Presentation truncheon, hand decorated, by McNaughton, Glasgow and stamped with 332. The truncheon is made from a hard wood, and varnished. It is 18" long. It has a ringed baluster grip. The pommel is stamped with the maker's name, "McNaughton, Glasgow", (see one of the photographs). The truncheon is hand decorated with the Queen Victoria Royal Cypher (V.R.) and below this it is stamped with "332". This is a nice original truncheon. The price includes Uk delivery. Sn 10724

A police presentation truncheon hand made display stand to hold 7 x truncheons. The stands have been commissioned by ourselves and are hand made for displaying Police Presentation Truncheons. The stands are beautifully made and finished. They are made from hard wood and varnished. They have green baize in the truncheon 'seats' and four baize circles, one in each corner on the base. WW1 Period Cheshire Constabulary Uniform Leather Waist Belt, Buckle and Clasp. Sn 10712:1 - 10712:1
An original WW1 period Cheshire Constabulary uniform leather waist belt, buckle and clasp. The waist belt is dark brown leather and it has a very nice original patina. The belt is in excellent condition. It is 48" long when laid out flat. It has a buckle which allows it to be adjusted, in the photographs it is adjusted to 36". The belt has two leather loops. The clasp is nickel and has the Cheshire Constabulary crest in the centre along with "Cheshire Constabulary" around the outside. The leather fob behind the clasp has a number stamped on the reverse "106340" making it a researchable item. The stitching on the belt is all present and secure. The price includes Uk delivery.
