Inter War 1939, British Kings Regiment Officer's Blue Patrol High Collar Tunic 2nd Lieut R.G. Peel. U 360. - U 360
An original Inter War 1939, Kings Regiment Officer's Blue Patrol High Collar Tunic. It has pleated chest pockets & lower bag pockets. It has embossed brass Kings Regiment buttons and the shoulder straps bear Gilt Kings Crown Rank Insignia. The inside of the tunic has a nice cloth label ink marked ' Flights Ltd, 4 New Burlington Street, London W1' with date 19-6-39 and '2 Lieut L.G. Peel 5/8th'. The chest is mounted with Campaign medal ribbons. The inside of it's white high collar is stamped 'Patrol 15 1/2' (Collar size) together with 'L.G. Peel'. The tunic is approx UK size 38" chest. Included is it's removeable cloth belt with buckle. All material is clean and intact. Price includes UK delivery. U 360.

It is complete with Regimental white metal collar badges and buttons. The shoulder straps are mounted with Lieutenant rank stars and silvered 'A's. The lining has a hand sewn label to 'R.C. Harvey'. WW2 Pattern Royal East Kent Regiment (Buffs), Officer's Uniform. Sn 8331. - 8331
The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), formerly the 3rd Regiment of Foot was an Infantry Regiment of the British Army until 1961. It had a history dating back to 1572 and was one of the oldest Regiments in the British Army. It provided distinguished service over a period of almost four hundred years accumulating one hundred and sixteen battle honours. Following a series of amalgamations since 1961 its lineage is today continued by the Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment. This is an original WW2 Pattern Buffs, Officer's Uniform. The Tunic is clean & undamaged and has just the service wear to be expected. It is single breasted with open collar, pleated chest pockets and plain lower pockets with flaps. The epaulettes bear enamel and gilt rank insignia stars of Captain. The lapels have Silver Buffs badges by 'JR Gaunt'. The tunic is mounted with WW2 campaign ribbons. All of the Tunic's brass King's Crown Buffs buttons are present. The Tunic is approx UK size 38" Chest. The matching trousers have side slash pockets, seat pocket with buttoned flap and the trouser's have buttoned fly. They are approx 30-34" Waist, 33" Leg. This is an original WW1/WW2 British Army Manchester Regiment Officer's Tropical Uniform. The Tunic and Trousers are made of light Khaki cord twill. The Tunic is clean & undamaged and has just the service wear to be expected. It is single breasted with open collar, pleated chest pockets and hidden lower pockets with plain flaps. The epaulettes bear the single King's Crown Rank Badge of Major. All of the Tunic's brass buttons which bear the Arms of the Manchester Regiment are present. The inside of the top left pocket flap has a white label with printed retailer's name 'John's & Pegg Ltd, 4 Clifford Street, London, W.1' The Tunic is approx UK size 38" Chest. The matching trousers have side slash pockets, hidden rear seat pocket and lower turn ups on the legs. The legs of the trousers have some service wear and stain patches. A superb condition 1944 pattern Olive Drab Wool Field Jacket or "Ike" Jacket of a Staff Sergeant of the USAAF wearing patches of the 9th and USAAF. Brass US and aviation collar badges. Unusual badge over left pocket of an eagle in a letter'O' all in a diamond. Two gold service stripes and WW1 victory medal ribbon.
