This is an original WW2 British RAF lightweight tropical bush jacket, trousers & side cap. The light cotton jacket has chest and hip patch pockets with flaps and buttons. The jacket has its original RAF Kings crown buttons (the top collar button is plain). The epaulettes and shoulders have cloth formation insignia. The inside of the jacket has an excellent clean WD size and manufacturer label together with 1944 date (illustrated). The tropical trousers have open top hip pockets and press stud fly. The rear of the trousers has a clean WD size and manufacturer label together with 1942 date. The inside of the trousers has a crisp AM air ministry ink stamp (all illustrated). The belt has a clean WD size and manufacturer label together with 1945 date (illustrated. )The air force blue serge side cap is WD ink stamped together with 1942 date, 7 3/8 size & manufacturer’s name (all illustrated). The cap has its original brass RAF cap badge and buttons. The cap also has a contemporary hand written name ‘J.A. Anderson’ no doubt the name of the RAF soldier or pilot who was issued with the cap. Original WW1 1914 Pattern Imperial German Military Officer’s 2 Piece Bayern State Gilded Brass Buckle and Period Brocade Belt. Sn 15703:33 - 15703:33
Imperial German States issued their own buckles bearing State insignia. These buckles were in general brass or alloy with insignia plates attached by folding tabs. This is an excellent original Officer's 2 piece 1914 pattern brass Bayern State 2 Piece gilded brass Buckle and belt. The front of the buckle is mounted with the Bayern State ‘Crown’ badge secured by the correct 3 folding prongs. There are no manufacturer or date marks on the buckle or belt. The original period leather and blue felt backed brocade belt is 2” wide, 39 ½” in length and holed for size adjustment. This is an original Victorian era Scottish Military Sporran. The horse hair sporran has brass top mount. It has its brown leather cantle with flap covered pocket and brass stud button. The cantle has unreadable contemporary hand writing and an indistinct embossed stamp. The cantle also has 2 small belt loops. The Sporran is fitted with original chain and leather belt, waist hanger with buckle. The front of the Sporran has an original Scottish Fusilier’s Regiment, brass ignited grenade badge. Pre WW1 1902-1910 Royal Warwickshire Regiment Volunteer Battalion 2nd Lieutenant’s Red Dress Tunic . Sn 12950 - 12950
This is an original, 1902-1910 Royal Warwickshire Regiment Volunteers 2nd Lieutenant’s Red Dress Tunic. The vivid red Tunic has silvered collar dogs with separate gold grown. The Epaulettes carry a single pip for the rank of 2nd Lieutenant & the buttons with Kings crown are all present. They are in white metal as oppsed to gilt denoting a Volunteer Battalion. There is no Tailor’s label but the cream lining is in excellent condition as is the blue melton cloth, gold braid collar & cuffs. The body of the Tunic and lining have just the service and storage wear to be expected. It measures 17” armpit to armpit (approx. 34” chest). Price includes UK delivery. Sn 12950

WW2 / Pre 1953 Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry Leather Cross Belt & Pouch With King’s Crown Yeomanry Badge. Sn 12769 - 12769
The Queen's Own Worcestershire Hussars was a Yeomanry regiment of the British Army. First raised in 1794, it participated in the Second Boer War and World War I as horsed cavalry before being converted to an anti-tank regiment of the Royal Artillery for service in World War II. In 1956 it was amalgamated with the Warwickshire Yeomanry to form the Queen's Own Warwickshire and Worcestershire Yeomanry. In 1899, they were called for service in the Imperial Yeomanry, for the Boer War and formed part of the newly formed Imperial Yeomanry Cavalry. The Regiment fought in WW1 and on return from Palestine in 1919 it had become clear during the war that cavalry was obsolete and in 1922 it was announced that the Worcestershires were to become a Royal Artillery Regiment. The Regiment fought with distinction in WW2. This is a nice original Pre 1953 Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry Cross Belt & Pouch. The belt and pouch are leather. The belt is 32" long. The belt has ornate brass plates with void panels. The leather covered steel pouch opens as it should and has a leather tab with single brass stud fastener. The leather covering has some wear consistent with age and service use. The front of the pouch is mounted with the bi metal badge of the Worcestershire Imperial Yeomanry with King’s Crown.
